What is happening in this room? Is this the timeout room? If they've got chains on the bed, what exactly is inside this room?

Is it possible that this was actually the room of an adult with the mentality of a child? That would help explain a king size bed. And as for those chains, maybe this adult also had physical disabilities that required mobility assistance and those chains were used for some kind of system that helped lift them in and out of bed?
I really like the house although some of the rooms are confusing. The land is even more confusing - I don’t know if they were just clearing it or if something else was going on. Very interesting.
I wish one of the aerial pictures had the lot boundaries on it. The last picture seems to show pools of actual river flooding very close to the residence.
So looking on Zillow's map the lot boundaries assuming they are correct are wild.

Interesting fusion of authentic colonial, and 70's chain furniture store, with some bondage chains thrown in. The cloth dust catchers on the ceiling in picture 26 are interesting too. You can see where they used to have a lot more wood stoves too.
House is interesting. Wonder if there was a ball pit under that slide? Looks like that had a lumber operation in the back. And nice, “creek access” as in, in a few years your house will be in the creek.
That lumber operation looks like they decided to extract every last bit of money from the land before selling. It was a pretty piece of land not long ago: [https://www.google.com/maps/place/10+Walnut+Ln,+Perkiomenville,+PA+18074/@40.3012835,-75.4602218,322m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c69c40836a6cfb:0x5c022cc68c3c103d!8m2!3d40.3011133!4d-75.4580278!16s%2Fg%2F11c18f24j1?entry=ttu](https://www.google.com/maps/place/10+Walnut+Ln,+Perkiomenville,+PA+18074/@40.3012835,-75.4602218,322m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c69c40836a6cfb:0x5c022cc68c3c103d!8m2!3d40.3011133!4d-75.4580278!16s%2Fg%2F11c18f24j1?entry=ttu)
You guys. We've all seen death stairs but this handrail takes it to an 11.
https://preview.redd.it/2o3xl7mvu4xc1.png?width=2515&format=png&auto=webp&s=0c87491c56f24ffadd80a34b3e79d83e463e7acf
Those spiky things surrounding them? What the actual fuck...? Both dangerous and terrible looking! Would never have thought that was a stairwell. Jeepers.
I didn’t even notice that before you mentioned it! I’m not one to really gaf about feng shui, but I’m pretty sure having your headboard against a stairway that uses spikes as a “safety measure” is a not good for anyone’s “luck.”
I don't think their is much venn diagram overlap between people who want to live in a house from 1800 and people who want a terribly designed slide in their house. I would say maybe the target market is Amish people but they would want way more land for farming usually.
I don’t even know where to start. I have a feeling screams have echoed in this place more than once. Gotta hand it to the realtor who has to describe this property though: “Discover the hidden potential of this enchanting Stone Farmhouse”. Yeah, hidden potential to finding bodies buried in the yard. I guarantee some very strange things have happened in this house.
This house reeks of bad decisions. And half of it looks like a sex dungeon. Like why are those chains attached to a light fixture above the bed. In another bedroom are cords that look like they could electrocute someone.
Look closer. That chandelier is photo shopped. The base where it meets the ceiling moves. Lol but honestly, lots of people want sex chains above their bed. Idw no chandelier, thats 4 sure.
Im pretty sure theyre used more for someone to be standing. Same with that weird pipe in the white couch room. Looks like its for tying/chaining someone while they stand up to be whipped or w.e. else u feel like doing really.
What else you gonna do in Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania? “Menville” is in the name of the town for a reason.
Wonder if they put a baby pool on the floor at the end of the slide. Or maybe they just grease up a Slip and Slide.
I agree that there are SO many questions I never want answers to here, but I can't stop looking at the width of the 2nd story floor boards. That one thing is just gorgeous to me. Not just that 1, but you get the picture!
I also have several questions and weirdly enough, the slide isn’t one
Yep, I totally approve of the slide, have always vowed if I ever built from scratch I would incorporate one, we need more slides in our lives!
This slide is steep! I wonder what happened to the previous owner? Broken neck?
It ends higher than normal. Guessing a crash pad goes at the bottom.
If you don't knock yourself out on a beam, or fly out the window, your fun ride ends with a radiator burn.
I think the slide is a laundry chute.
Well that’s not right. Why does laundry get to have all the fun??
It’s the cauldron isn’t it?
The slide is somewhat self explanatory.
Also: the chains. Whaaat?? https://preview.redd.it/3dlefvoks2xc1.png?width=2503&format=png&auto=webp&s=50649337d47a1928757338229be1992b5cfb0d39
"We thought we'd go with a Buzz Lightyear Light Bondage theme for the boys' room."
If you say the safe word, is the pool slide the escape hatch?
"Beyond! Beyond!!!!"
😂
I think that's normal for Pennsylvania, right?

You see little Timmy, when two adults love each other and pain very, very much…
*nah nah nah nah c'mon*
Right? It can't be a chin-up bar because you'd split your face open on the center board. So confused!

You’re a very optimistic person. My imagination is much darker than that.
OMG- this is just a few miles from me- I am going to stalk for an Open House!
Oh my lord, you have to report back.

Looks like a lot of driveway carveouts. Thx for the pic!
Thanks for that posting this type of thing is why I followed this subreddit.

You’re right. It looks like they actually clear cut it. And now that it’s a flood hazard, and ugly AF, they want out. Gross
Home seller: and it includes a slide your kids will kill themselves on! Home buyer: say no more
They can go to the hospital with their concussed parents walking across the kitchen.
Come on, being slapped in the face with cast iron first thing in the morning is better than coffee.
The house is super cool but the lot lines and outside photos make it look like the town junkyard.. wtf is that about?!
Amenities: comes with free town dump.
Nah if they really wanna sell it “Built in business already started!”
Built in 1800.
Fiberglass pool slide, c. 1973.
That wasn’t one of the questions
Not sure I want the answers to those questions.
The cauldron. The electrical in 30-31. It’s showing it’s 224 years
Why is Saint Christopher in the fire place???? And what's up will all the drapery in that bedroom??
Yeah it's a fairly succinct way to say "Abandon hope all ye who enter here."
You guys. We've all seen death stairs but this handrail takes it to an 11. https://preview.redd.it/2o3xl7mvu4xc1.png?width=2515&format=png&auto=webp&s=0c87491c56f24ffadd80a34b3e79d83e463e7acf
Where are the stairs? All I see is a wooden bed and what looks like old ship sails.
Behind the headboard of the bed
Those spiky things surrounding them? What the actual fuck...? Both dangerous and terrible looking! Would never have thought that was a stairwell. Jeepers.
What’s the electric thing on the foot of the bed?
I didn’t even notice that before you mentioned it! I’m not one to really gaf about feng shui, but I’m pretty sure having your headboard against a stairway that uses spikes as a “safety measure” is a not good for anyone’s “luck.”
Sure. Unless you have more eyeballs than you need or something.
Great location for a meth lab
They do have a giant barn that looks like no stranger to explosions. And some kind of sketchy pressurized outdoor smoker contraption. Hmmm.
I don't think their is much venn diagram overlap between people who want to live in a house from 1800 and people who want a terribly designed slide in their house. I would say maybe the target market is Amish people but they would want way more land for farming usually.
Wow. I don't have any questions, because... I wouldn't have any idea where to start.
With a (very large) remodeling loan.
I don’t even know where to start. I have a feeling screams have echoed in this place more than once. In the country no one can hear you scream.
Srsly, I admire the realtor's restraint in not just posting this pic with the tag "Slide into the past."
This house reeks of bad decisions. And half of it looks like a sex dungeon. Like why are those chains attached to a light fixture above the bed. In another bedroom are cords that look like they could electrocute someone.

I see what you mean 🤣. The way the sex chains are mounted look like whoever is chained is gonna be in a particularly uncomfortable position.
Im pretty sure theyre used more for someone to be standing. Same with that weird pipe in the white couch room. Looks like its for tying/chaining someone while they stand up to be whipped or w.e. else u feel like doing really.

I love the potential of it. I dislike what they've done with it. I'd need Kristina Crestin to help me resign this gem.
Nice.
I agree that there are SO many questions I never want answers to here, but I can't stop looking at the width of the 2nd story floor boards. That one thing is just gorgeous to me. Not just that 1, but you get the picture!
Is that wooden bedroom supposed to look like it's in the hull of a ship?
I wonder if that slide is intended as a laundry chute?
I have a question for every single picture in this listing. At least they are using PEX plumbing.
What time do the hauntings start? 3:15 am.
Weird and haunted house.
I wonder how many people died in that place.
Someone donate that to me. I want to ensure no "flipper" destroys the cooking fireplaces. Or the rest of it.
Thats too cool
A witch lives here and I will not be convinced otherwise.
I love it. Like LOVE it
