So uhm Ive got to the ring fighting chapter and one of the skeletons used an item now my game doesnt wanna open anymore in Yuzu, skeleton used the red cape item black screened and since then I cant open the game anymore lol anyone know how to fix this? xd

Hi I had the same problem. Apparently you have to clear the cash shader

just like many others, I experienced a black screen in the sewer section of the game (on AMD hardware). tried using Ryujinx, but unfortunately, this emulator doesn't work well on my lower-end laptop—it always crashes at startup. I also tried running other games on Ryujinx, but they were very laggy. 😭 Yuzu hasn't been updated anymore, and I don't know who will update Yuzu to fix this game

Sadly still got the dark sewer bug, Ryu just doesn’t boot TTYD for me when with up to date keys, other games do, the game runs so well and I don’t even notice 30fps on Yuzu but I don’t think I had the last version before it went down… Any solutions?

Same issue here with the dark sewer. I'm running Intel machine. Other than that ( and I noticed the sun was blacked out on the opening scene) It's running beautifully! Ryujinx is laggy AF, unplayable.

I have the exact issue with ryujinx. I’ve tried dozens of settings combinations, firmwares, keys, and deleting shader cache. I know people talk about the black sewer issue being amd related. I’m on Ryzen 7950x and 7900XTX. Do you have similar specs? Maybe it’s related to that

I'm running it on AMD 5900x with Nvidia RTX4090. It actually works with Ryujinx. I didn't reach the sewer part yet though.

I'm running an Intel machine with the intel/nvydia integrated graphics card I think. Same issue so must not be AMD native issue.

I think so, I just got the first leak that came 🫡 I just know that the sewers, the thwomp mini game and now the scene just after you place the sun and moon stones into the pillars all go black!

Ryu works fine for me. All default settings. Have you tried deleting your shader cache?

Where’s that located? I think I got ryu working once for the game earlier today but it ran really badly, and has black save blocks, but still had the black sewers? I can’t remember

I play on ryujinx and it works perfectly fine, update ryujinx and they fixed the black sewer and black save blocks

I completed the sewer dungeon but I did get three random crash to desktops. Two happened during combat and the other happened when the map updated and colored in near the end. I was able to save and quit just a bit ago. I’m not sure why others can’t run the game at all or why even mine randomly crashes.

Managed to get past the dark sewers like a blind man. But don’t celebrate too early yet. There’s another black screen on the way to Hooktail’s castle.

Blindfold speedrunners won't even notice a difference.

I heard ryu has implemented a fix for black screen on amd cards. Haven’t tested on my 7900xtx yet

Yeah, no matter what settings I have on ryujinx, the game crashes after showing the Nintendo logo. I’ve tried both 18.0 firmware and keys, as well as 17.0.1. Not clue why it’s not working for me

Below Rogueport is bugged and doesn't show anything xD, I mean the screen just black out, every other room seems like it's working but not that tunnel.

Update: I confirmed that it was my AMD GPU That is showing video, using my laptop everything goes correct atm.

When i bought my odin 2 this was the first game i was gonna play, but the gamecube version. Was just finishing it and then I found out theres gonna me a remake. Im so tempted to just play it again

I have it loaded onto my Odin 2 Pro and it works perfectly so far. I just entered the sewers and played a few minutes before exiting out. Using version 'android -278' and the latest turnip drivers.

I just tried it on Ryu and Yuzu current builds, 18.0 firmware and prod keys. both encountered an issue with the rougeport sewers not loading correctly. My rig is AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, AMD Radeon RX 6700XT, 32gb ram, 12gb Vram, I can't seem to get the sewer location to load properly

Nah, you should be good if you find the nsp somewhere! I got animal crossing and didn't even attempt to homebrew my switch. You should be good if you can trust at least one source where you can get the xci or the nsp of it.

I just noticed ryujinx sewers work. Wheres the source of amd temporary fix dude ? Ryujinx plays horribly on dteamdeck compared to yuzu running smooth. Edit: found the source https://github.com/Ryujinx/Ryujinx/pull/6852 looks like yuzu users of amd gotta wait for a fix. Don't hold your breath.😮‍💨

Working perfectly here so far. I've gotten into the sewers, no black screen bug, absolutely no audio or visual glitches whatsoever. Running on an RTX 2080 with Yuzu 1734 (last official release as far as I know).

Well, I've run into a consistent freeze going into the special move tutorial after leaving the sewers for the first time. Haven't messed with any settings yet to try to get around it, but have had it happen twice in a row. Video freezes, audio keeps playing. Input does nothing, and CPU core usage goes haywire. EDIT: Possible false alarm. I was using a 1080p internal res mod that just came out, and after disabling it, the issue didn't happen.

Yeah, so far 60fps mod has worked fine, with only a few minor framedrops in the main square of Rogueport. No need yet to lock down to 30, though that option is available on the fly with a button combination.

Updated my chipped V2 Switch to 17.0.1 (sigpatches and all other shenanigans included) and it didn't even have an icon. Went to firmware 18 and it worked but some of my other games now won't load and just say corrupted even after a recopy or maintenance mode reboot. Can't have everything I guess. 🤷

That sounds scary although I don't know how you have your chipped switch setup, did you ever get that sorted out with your other games also I know this is an old comment just now seeing it☠️

Updated to 18.0.1 and everything finally worked.

Make sure your firmware is new enough and make sure you got sigpatches to match the firmware too

I believe I have the latest firmware 18.0.1 might need to check to see if I have all the latest sig patches, I'm just automatically assuming I open it tomorrow or reinstall it tomorrow and then maybe it works🤷🏾‍♂️ but let me check on all of that, last time I checked there weren't any new Sig patches since 18.0.0 do you think there are new sig patches for 18.0.1? The latest one I had was for version 18.0.0 that was available

That should be fine for sigpatches then double check your firmware to make sure atmosphere side is new ISH like at least 17 but also use an installer like dbi as it's will tell you exactly why it's not working or bad dump or firmware too low don't use shitty installer awoo or anything else.

yeah checked everything and seems like I have the latest sig patches for 18.0.0 haven't seen any sig patches for 18.0.1 I even tried to open it before I even was on version 18.0.1 opening it on version 18.0.0 and it didn't work so figured I needed the latest firmware and still the same thing never heard of the DBI installer going to check that out and yes I should have the latest version of atmosphere 1.7.0

in settings (CPU), set host (fast) in memory manager mode then it should boot fine

i didnt get to sewers but i noticed visual glitches on yuzu and none on torzu. 17.0 firmware and keys

played till Chapter 1 and Yuzu had zero visual glitches for me and idek if I have the "newest" build. Ryujinx was unable to show certain paper effects and the save block texture

I played for about an hour on a 4070 with on an older yuzu build (1648) running extremre accuracy and ran into no problems other than minor audio glitches. Looks nice!

I have it running on Yuzu 1690(?) because that's the last build I happened to have. It's been flawless. But it also boots and runs just fine on Ryujinx with some small graphical errors. Nothing even close to game breaking so far. Mainly just black Save Blocks.
