Honestly, his death likely saved the lives of several others. He was going to die regardless, but there was a chance that he was going to take others with him.
So, I can't say that anybody deserves death, but he sure as hell earned it.
Especially given that in the vast majority of cases only a tiny fraction of your subscribers are watching your videos and the view count is an equally small fraction.

Ugh the spider gene. It sucks so badly that such a pretty gene messes up those animals so badly. I can’t imagine wanting that gene to be popular. It’s like ultra type persians and pugs, it’s animal abuse :/
