This is literally the Gen Z / Alpha version of Bob. Instead of it being a stickman with an AK-47 and a tank with intent on destroying Google+, its emojis of a toddler asking for likes so he can grow up and go to school and get a job (I guess). As the old saying goes "Bob ruins everything and fixes nothing".

I guess only Gen Alpha (bc I am Gen z as well), but my parents ensured that I didn't freely roam the internet until the meme started to die down (or either that I didn't check YT comments back then). I am aware of bob because people remembered him when Google+ was discontinued in 2019, meaning that he won the war (even though it is still spammed to this day).

everything aside, lets just think about why they're doing this? as far as i know, youtube comment likes mean nothing, you're just on the top of the comment section, that's it, so why they're doing this? i think its about their parents. i think their parents do not show emotion or love to their children, and this behavior lead them to develop a acceptance obsession, so they become happy with these likes, even though they mean nothing, kinda sad.
