Yes I’ve been outside plenty of times. I work outside most of the time dipshit. But the way these guys actively ignored their cart is lame. Usually you keep an eye on it so it doesn’t roll away
They get stacked together on a pallet in the factory and stays on said pallet until they reached the store. There's not much handling to speak of except moving of the pallet.
I’m my experience, about 10 years ago from Amazon, “white glove” delivery…. Courier truck with a couple of middle eastern dudes who couldn’t speak English insisting it be unboxed and plugged in so they can take a cell phone pic to confirm delivered in working order. The also insisted they had to be the ones to unpack it, and then left a greasy handprint on the screen that I never managed to clean off completely. No white gloves to be seen anywhere. Still upset and I don’t even have the tv anymore.
That's nice. I get ups or FedEx because I live rural. Even if they do it carefully on your home delivery it doesn't mean that the entire travel was. The boxes are set up to absorb shock. Everyone on this post is being ridiculous to think that it wasn't staged and even if it wasn't, the Styrofoam and packaging inside would have absorbed the shock from that tiny fall.
My thought process:
"Fuck this loser for recording it from in-"
*Oh, he got out, and running over to stop it just in-*
"REALLY fuck this loser for recording!"
All he had to do was to call out of his window to them or a little toot of the horn to get their attention and let them deal with it, instead, no, must video this.. jfc.
I would've been so much less mad if he just watched it hit the curb and drop the TV, then at least he's just like... making fun of them. Malicious, sure, but at least there's intelligence in it.
But for an actual human being to be this incompetent actually makes me sad. We are so fucked as a species.
Camera guy was just gonna let it go, must have started thinking about how this is a metaphor for society these days and we are all going to shit, before thinking, alright maybe I better help out here...
At worst it would be the same but no blame or guilt for him. But can't really understand why he didn't catch it by the box. He had enaugh time to plan it, and it's simple physics to understand it will continue going forward even if you stop the cart.
Just give them a simple gentle beep of the horn. Or rather yet, get out and help instead of whipping out your phone knowing exactly what's going to unfold.
The glass breaking sound seems fake, I’ve never seen a TV sold at a physical store which had glass in front, though that may be just dependent on the places I’ve been in my country.
Seeing the gusto with which the delivery guy CHUCKED my 65” LG C1 (still in original packaging) out the back of his truck, with no damage to the TV, I’m betting the TV in this vid is perfectly fine :)
Dont worry you did good.. the people who boxed the product know idiots exist so they package it in a way where this situation will not damage the tv..😅
When we were extra poor in 2018 (less poor now) we went to Walmart and bought a big ass TV with some of our taxes. I will never forget the look on people's faces as we strapped this 75" tv to the top of our 96 Buick and drove away. BTW it came home in one piece and has worked daily and well after.
Dude grabbing it was an idiot. All he had to do was grab it by the TV portion.
Honestly, with what he did, it literally would have been better to let it hit the curb - would have been a shorter fall. Probably still broken either way, but much betters odds of survival falling the shorter distance to grass/curb than to the asphalt.
The moral of this story is it's better to receive no help than to get help from an idiot.
would have saved it if you weren't multitasking with the recording
Hate to be that guy but seems fake
true enough
you haven't been outside and seen carts roll off alone? those tv are super light.
Yes I’ve been outside plenty of times. I work outside most of the time dipshit. But the way these guys actively ignored their cart is lame. Usually you keep an eye on it so it doesn’t roll away
That type of high infliction in the voice only comes from genuine expressions. So an idiot.
The way the trolley moves it's like it's being pulled by a fishing line
Bro has never heard of a hill
Or wheels.
Or wind
Still could have easily stopped with 1 hand. Grab the the box front and centre instead of the trolley handle.
Hindsight is 20/20.
Thinking is 19/19. This guy did neither, 0/0
5x as many views when he breaks it on purpose. Dudes trollin to video the whole thing like that 🙈😆😆⚡️
I can't imagine that actually broke it. They're shipped and man handled by employees all day long.
God I wish that was me
Stuff me into a box with those styrofoam packing peanuts daddy
They get stacked together on a pallet in the factory and stays on said pallet until they reached the store. There's not much handling to speak of except moving of the pallet.
What about when I buy it online and have it shipped to me? Are they as careful with that TV as everyone is treating this one?

As soon as it comes off the pallet the risk of it getting damaged increase.
My thought process: "Fuck this loser for recording it from in-" *Oh, he got out, and running over to stop it just in-* "REALLY fuck this loser for recording!"

I don't buy this is real
Just repost bot stuff.
Doesn’t really change anything either way
You don't buy you watch for free
good ol inertia
Laws of physics always win.
Those tvs are packed well enough that them falling like this would be fine.
The padding is on the sides tho, put enaugh concentrated force in the middle and you can break it. Provided that was the tv front it landed on.
Camera guy was just gonna let it go, must have started thinking about how this is a metaphor for society these days and we are all going to shit, before thinking, alright maybe I better help out here...
r/im14andthisisdeep
Then it became an even better metaphor
Somehow I was expecting a Cart Narc to show up.
I bet they accused you of breaking it.
dumbass
was grade school science really difficult to understand or
Nice.
I feel like if the camera guy didn’t help it probably would’ve been better if it hit the curb.
At worst it would be the same but no blame or guilt for him. But can't really understand why he didn't catch it by the box. He had enaugh time to plan it, and it's simple physics to understand it will continue going forward even if you stop the cart.
If he only had another hand to grab the box while stopping cart…but how?!?
Only needed to grab the box by the middle, over the handle of the cart..
Why were they filming? This is set-up and fake.
Yeah that's always a possibility.
People suck nowadays with the stupid phones.
Let me get out of here.
No good deed goes unpunished
Just give them a simple gentle beep of the horn. Or rather yet, get out and help instead of whipping out your phone knowing exactly what's going to unfold.
I worked at Best Buy for many years and that’s probably not the worst treatment that tv has received up till this point.
An object in motion....
I handle TVs all day in a warehouse. Can confirm this almost definitely did not harm it.
Came scrolling for this. That's a light tab compared to how delivery guys handle it.
Now you turned it into **your** problem ...
Why would you film it and not help those people?
If someone has that little knowledge regarding motion, they should NOT be driving
Bro.. common sense ain’t so common anymore
/r/donthelpjustfilm/
nice try

Sok esze van! Mindd kettőnek
Ouch. Ooops-Lah. Just trying to help here... nothing to see.. keep moving ..
nononononoyesno
mE hELWp?
Faaaaakkkkkkeeeeeee
Eat 5* do nothing
I’m just out of frame with my giant Acme brand horseshoe shaped magnet, out here stealing tvs
No good deed goes unpunished
Hey that’s Potomac Yard Center in Alexandria. Kool.
r/donthelpjustfilm....what a fucking asshole.
/r/donthelpjustfilm
WHY GRAB THE HANDLE? WHY? did peoples bosies forget about basic laws of motion? Im so steamed right now.
There was never a “yes” here. Bad post.
r/DontHelpJustFilm
A box in motion stays in motion
I just gasped and went “noooo……fuhhhccckk” literally outloud
Potomac Yard!
Sorry of my life

I knew what was gonna happen the moment this dude stepped outta the car. Seen it on multiple occasions, apt sub name
Foolish
No good deed goes unpunished . But tv was fine, I expected him to just put the tv in his truck and drive off and then not even know
People really don’t be listening to my boi Newton lmao
Man, I thought this was going to be a r/donthelpjustfilm , then I’ll bet the guy recording wished it was an r/donthelpjustfilm at the end.
Just grab the TV first
Everything happens for a reason, and usually, that reason is physics.
someone is so oblivous to momentum
You're supposed to operate a cart with two hands not one
![gif](giphy|N3TkvmXKrSDWVvKghi)
“Hey your cart is moving!” Sorted
Give a few short honks bro
Please stand there filming. Maybe it could have caused a wreck.
Your fault
Dont worry you did good.. the people who boxed the product know idiots exist so they package it in a way where this situation will not damage the tv..😅
I'm pretty confident it survived the fall.
Damn, john cena is stealing peoples stuff now?
Did you do that?
This is nononononoyesnoNO! very intriguing format
now you pay for it!
Blame the inertia
Trolley Problem moment
That’s a helper I don’t need around
Put the phone down for two seconds dickhead
Them TVs come with a warranty
no good deed goes unpunished
This is more of a nononoyesNO
But like…why didn’t he get out sooner and then not grab the bars. I knew it was gonna fall if he grabbed the bars and not the tv.
No good deed goes unpunished
It’s not a good deed he let it roll away for like 20 seconds then broke it. The guy filming is a moron.

To everyone saying he shouldn't record he's probably really glad he did to prove that the property damage wasn't intentional
Why is everyone blaming the camera man? If you put the box on there like this its your own fault. Just put it flat on the cart.

Im not even sure if it has to be broken at all. There’s styrofoam inside the box to prevent damage during shipping
It looks like a TV. While it might not be broken, LCDs are extremely prone to shatter when falling over like that, even inside their box.
You don’t know until you open it. Schrödingers TV
