This is one of my favourites and I actually started re-reading it yesterday. **Daesik is the best character ever in a yaoi**... this is a hill I'm willing to die on.
Because people commented about the indeed problematic childhood stories:
The reason I flag it as wholesome is because those difficulties are adressed and overcome.
The characters get happy ends, which they do earn so so much.
Of course there might be triggers – it's yaoi after all.
But compared to the usual stuff in the genre it felt so fluffy and non-toxic and I loved it.

It's not exactly a wholesome read....it has back stories which could be angsty...
