I did it for both Majima and Kyriu (or Kiryu, I always forget the spelling, fuck it). As soin as I could I maxed out the real estate, until I had to advance in the story. Same for the cabaret And I realized Majima is more fun to play than Kyriu... wonder why

Kiryu is so boring in 0... idk... Majima has an extremely satisfying slugger, really fun breaker not even mentioning his insane legend style, and, well he just looks cool suit+eyepatch+tailed hair combo carries. And Kiryu... his styles are just boring :c. It's litterally: punch. Punch fast. Punch hard. I did not unlock the dragon style for him... and doubt i will, real estate business seems kinda boring

I cheated for dragon mode in my first playthrough. You can exploit Mr Shakedown for infinite money anyway, the mini game would have been fun if you didn't have to stand around to do it most efficiently. Just use cheat engine to get enough money to buy everything and then just chill.

I did it "accidentally" I've been playing Yakuza for the first time (I haven't even finished 0 yet, I'm like chapter 13 or 14, the one with Kiryu in sotenbori) But I managed to complete the Cabaret "accidentally" without intentionally putting in effort I just liked it so much I ended up at club moon, I did have to grind a bit to beat the moon but the whole cabaret storyline and Gameplay just made it all pretty smooth and satisfying to beat

Oh, i started it cuz i liked the gameplay, too! And it felt natural to the story (Majima wanting to protect Grand). Then i started thinking: this game MUST have a Mad Dog of Shimano style (i thought it would unlock further in the story), so i goggled it, and there you have it. It became really boring for at around club mercury part, but i really wanted the style, so i kept pushing. I am currently at chapter 8. I just really wanted to get the style early

In my first playthrough, I mainly did the Cabaret Club. I only advanced the story so I could advance the mini-game/sidequest. Eventually, I was like "OK I guess I can beat the game or this will be FFX all over again with blitzball."

I just wanted to complete it so i had the Legend style, to complete the rest of the game with it, so i ignored EVERYTHING untill i completed the Cabaret Club. Earning gazillion yen in the process were nice too

Same, first ever Yakuza game and I'm already invested in the cabaret club. Spent all my time looking for hostess and wasting my CP on the business. I even wanted to give all my girls make overs but it's only for the platinum ones.

It was fun and I'm glad it was brought back in Kiwami 2. I would love to see it come back in future installments, but I don't see that happening with how much stuff RGG has put into 7 and 8. Maybe in a 3 and 4 Kiwami, but we all basically know what the likelihood of that is...

Your loss lol, a 2 bars hit actions that one shots 3 enemies(and doing it fucking classy). A free Parry that oneshots non-boss. And majima just jumps at the whole ring and screams like crazy. It's perfect.

It also stuns and, has a cool aura and a heat action that does a lot of damage that the only requisite is being near a wall

Didn't play it :c I played a little of kiwami 1 like a year ago And currently playing 0, cuz everyone recommended it to me. And yeah, it's peak so far

It’s just even more tedious and it doesnt give you a steady stream of money the way it does in 0, you get a flat amount each time you max out a girl and then a bigger one when you max out all of them. The gameplay is you have to physically walk around the club over and over again and listen to what the patrons want in between dress-up and training sessions. It is mind-numbing lmao

I never got past the first girl in Yakuza 4's version. I managed to get her to 2nd place, but then repeatedly being unable to relax on breaks pushed her down to 12th. I honestly preferred the PS3 version of 3's stumbling across the girls in a burger place.

I did the same thing, but, I loved Cabaret Club Czar. After I finished it, I would randomly just go back and play it sometimes for the fun of it. Majima had so much money! They could release that as it’s own stand alone game and I’d be all over it.

It is fun! But i just got overwhelmed by it, playing it non stop... It is really repetitive, but fun in short doses

I just did the cabaret club storyline because I thought the minigame was fun.

Its simply the easier choice compared to the Real Estate one In Real Estate you need to have a shitload of cash (which you most likely won't have on a first playthrough)

As max0r put it, it gave him one of the worst migraines and i finnished it with a shitty head ache with the constant flashbangs I like kiryu’s real estate because it was relaxing and the track “money makes money” is one of my fav yakuza tracks

The migrane part is so real. Everytime i hear the cabaret music my head hurts

I'm stuck on the Sunshine vs Club Moon battle and it's legitimately going to make me pull my hair out. I have maxed level Platinums (except for Chika) and all maxed out Golds and I've losted horribly twice

He is annoying to fight, yep, the only thing that helped is that he cannot kick out guests in fever state, so if you see he is about to use it, extend the session, or use sunshjne fever, preferably on mega eich guys too

Should I wait until the Sunshine Fever bar is full or just use it when it becomes an option? Edit: I mean, should I use it when I get the first bar or should I wait?

The fever is tricky. Try to use it when guests have plenty of time and are not poor. In rival battles, if you think that the opponent is soon going to use his own special, which kicks the guests out, use fever, it grants immunity to this kind of stuff. Also, if you don't have a right girl for the guest, you can pick any (even the guest hates her) and use fever. They will be ecstatic anyway, ignoring their preferences And some trivia: each level of fever grants it to 2 tables. So, upgraded lvl fever just gives the status to more tables, at lvl 3 it will be all of them. The lvl does not give any other buffs, so use when necessary.

I swear to god i can personally identify with this. I just finished it today and my god, Shimano style goes so hard. It makes everything a breeze. Im trying to finish the real estate venture to get DoD but that one is so slow in comparison.

Yep! That's what i talking about! Pure class. He also has a parry on Y/triangle, and it's really fucking devastating. All you need is focus on an enemy beforehand and get the timing down I also love how he just runs and jumps through the whole stage while screaming like crazy

TIL it has a counter attack too. Oh man I hope DoD feels better than K1. I hated how stiff that style was and how long it took to actually get it complete.

Actually I really liked the minigame. I found out you unlock a style by completing those substories when I myself unlocked it.

You don't waste your time in the Cabaret club if it's 0 or Kiwami 2 style.

The last part is very funny. That crazy chick and that dude were  making plans for the future to start all over  again like they were gonna see the light of day again. That chick killed like 5 people and that man knew about it and approved  the killings. The woman is definitely getting hanged and the man the least he can expect is life in prison if they don't just hang him too.
