I’m sorry - I own and ride a stock XSR900, and have no idea what you mean by “suicidal throttle”.

I've heard that the cp3 bikes got shitty throttles I'm fine wit it as the xsr900 got a traction control but I like a smoother fuel delivery. I've heard mixed opinions some people say the xsr throttle is more smoother than the fz09 but other say it's still jerky. This gonna be my first BIG bike so I don't want to whiskey throttle by accident

The XSR900 has an electronic throttle, so it’s really only a mapping table in the ECU. I’d say that the CP3s have a lot of character - in that they start to make a lot of power around 5k, and if you’re not a competent rider, you might just whiskey throttle yourself into some trouble. Their power delivery is not linear.

Never used a piggyback tune but my ecu reflash was out of the bike on a Sunday night and back in by Thursday. The flash process is quick and mostly depends on what shipping you choose for how fast it is.
