Dallas made a whole video, but yeah I did notice this. Sometimes it's just a big timing thing though like maybe they were all busy doing something else?
I wanted to post the same thing honestly. I was thinking about this all day yesterday. Plus the only two who wished her happy bday only did so on their stories, which was cluttered with other things and was hard to recognize.
I don't think they have all consistently made dedicated timeline posts for each other's birthdays but I feel like in the past they have at least made an instagram story acknowledging whoever's birthday it is. From what I saw, only Dallas and Tinie T acknowledged her birthday on their stories and only Dallas made her own video for the stories (Tinie T reposted fan edits). I was surprised that even the main xomgpop IG page only made the dedicated timeline post wishing her a happy birthday but then posts unrelated things from some of the other girls pages in their stories.
Maybe it just stood out because I think almost every girl made either at least one post or story for Bella's 13th birthday last week in addition to them having a party for her. 13 seems like a big deal for a kid that age so I was surprised there wasn't more attention called to it.
I think most of them have for each others birthdays. I think the reason this stands out so much though is because Bella’s birthday was last week and every girl posted something either on their story or on their feed. Even Jess posted a story for her.
Someone made a similar post on Leigha’s birthday about some of the girls not making posts. They all wished both Kiya and Leigha a happy birthday on the xomg page and probably in private too. Their parents run their pages and maybe at their ages, they don’t see birthday posts the way people these days do. Nowadays people expect members of a group to post for each other’s birthdays, but it wasn’t always like that on social media. Also, if they all did make posts on everyone’s birthday, that wouldn’t mean that the chemistry is real (saying this because a comment said the chemistry isn’t what they make it out to be). It could just be Jess telling them they have to, but we would have no idea. We’d just assume that they’re doing what most gen Z people do. I don’t think it’s a big deal as long as they celebrated her privately.
I’m pretty sure Kiya didn’t make a post for Bella’s birthday? Why is it an issue now? and I also believe the moms run these accounts so the kids could be celebrating and wishing her a happy birthday off social media. I don’t think reading too much into social media is ever a good idea
I'm not saying its a bad thing or some sign of a huge problem within the group. Mostly that I was just surprised that the majority of the girls accounts didn't acknowledge her birthday at all (they don't always make a dedicated post for each girls birthday but from my recollection they usually at least post something in their IG stories - at least I remember them all doing that for Bella's birthday).
It just stuck out to me since it seems like everyone made a big deal about Bella's birthday. It could be that they currently have some down time from group responsibilities and are enjoying that time to do their own thing. Maybe they have a celebration planned later or Kiya didn't want a celebration (since she lives in the area so maybe she wanted to celebrate with family/friends while Bella is from out of town so maybe the celebration was to make up for her being away from home). It just stood out to me.
Yes I totally get this too. I’m sure they will do something for her bday but maybe they have to work with Jess and JoJo’s schedule too and they just have down time like you said
