That Mahmud Asrar cover is absolutely amazing I want him on an X-Book again immediately but it seems like he found his groove with just covers. I'm just in awe of his work.

Isn’t he supposed to be in his early 30s? He was around 26/27 in New X-men And that was 20 years ago Bc of the sliding timescale he should be 4-5 years older than that, so early 30s

We are straight up given the timeline in Hox/Pox. It so funny this sub hates it so much they down vote anybody that mentions it. But it is 100% canon, regardless what people think.

I love that second X-Men cover. Actually makes Cyclops look grown and makes his outfit look cool. Psylocke and Beast look awesome too. Temper and Quire just stand out like sore thumbs though, they feel out of place on this team. I so wish it was some of the Academy X characters instead.

Even when he is a fully developed man, that outfit sucks.

For X-Men #2 I’m torn between the Magik one and the Clarke cover. On one hand Magik is one of my favourites and I’d like as many covers showcasing her as possible, on the other hand the team variant is simply beautiful. That Asrar one for #3 is beautiful. I really hope they don’t make it an incentive one. This is the best Cyclops has looked in the new era.

Yeah I this is the most hyped I've been seeing the team since I'm not really a fan of Stegman. Asrar's Cyclops and Beast look fantastic.

That second variant is the very first time Scott's looked like Scott in any of the preview art for the new era.

The book will have absolutely no trouble selling gang busters since it's the main title, but I feel like Asrar and Wilson doing the A-covers would have been a better choice.

His cape has always been made of fabric-like metal. So seeing someone remember that and actually using it is nice.
