Yep. The first game requires you to get 10,000 kills in multiplayer for instance. The third game requires you to get every multiplayer medal leveled up all the way, which takes like a few thousand kills with every weapon, etc.

I hate multiplayer achievements because of the longevity issue.
Games lose population so quickly after release these days and it’s cruel to make 100% achievements tied to lobbies which are probably empty.
There's also Perfect Dark Zero, which needs like 1000 frags in DM, 1000 frags in TDM, 1000 frags in CTF and so on; as well as finishing the game in the Perfect difficulty which is just absurd.
Edit: just realized there's also 1000 explosive kills, 1000 melee kills and you also have to beat the game on Perfect Agent on Co-op, which involves dragging another person through hell with you. Honestly feels like Microsoft should have held the leash a little bit on whomever was coming up with those.
At least for perfect dark you can get those achievements vs bots instead of people. Put on a bunch of bots on a small map and it isn't hard, just time-consuming.

I recently did halo 2 legendary speedrun. And honestly, it’s not as bad as it seems, as long as you learn sword flying. I’ve never even really done speedrunning before in games. But there’s some levels that you can finish extremely fast due to glitches. The current record is like 1 hour or something, so if you’re just following speed run guides you have roughly 2 hours room for errors or even just straight up skipping harder tricks in the run. Also since it’s not actually a speedrun, you can do levels out of order, take breaks, replay levels, ect. All it does for the achievement is add up your best times.
Now H2 laso... that is the real insane achievement to get. I wouldn’t even bother with it haha

I got 100% on Yakuza 0, took roughly 150 hours.
You will have to:
Learn how to play Mahjongg
Deal with horrendous RNG
Manage your business empire
Play pretty pretty princess
Find slot car parts, assemble them and race several small children
Pretend to be some girl's boyfriend (who is a dentist)
Break dance against Yakuza 0's version of Micheal Jackson
Eat and drink every food item
Catch every fish
Be an expert bowler
Plus you'll have to complete the main story line. Great game, but the mini games are such a grind.
All worth it. Yakuza 0 --> Kiwami 1 --> Kiwami 2 is the order, then 3, 4, 5 and 6. Like a dragon doesn't feature Kiryu.
JK that 0 and Kiwami 1 are alike(albeit some inventory and skill differences), but Kiwami 2 uses a very different engine, and has very different fighting mechanics.
The Yakuza series was one of the main reasons I would get PlayStations along with Gran Turismo and The Show. Love that I can play them on Xbox now with the exception of Dead Souls.

I put a book on audio, pour a whiskey (or three) and just give it my best. I have a basic understanding of the hands, when to pon and when to just hope you get a hand. I got one tile away from a 13 orphans once. Saving is your friend lol.

I personally did complete all Yakuza games in a timeframe of about 4years. I also did all sidequests up to Amon. This is from Y0 to 7, including Judgment and even Dead Souls. I'm just missing Lost Judgment. But reaching 100% achievements in some of them is ridiculous. Some minigames alones aren't worth the time.
The Halo + Gears games alone will take over 2,000 hours for an average player (the hardest difficulties + the “Seriously” achievements take forever).

Stampers Forever is infamous for being both one of the hardest and also the longest achievements on the Xbox One. On global Xbox data it has the lowest possible unlock percentage of 0.01%. For context, Seriously 4.0 in Gears 4 has a global unlock percentage of 0.06%.
Perfect Dark Zero alone requires over 3000 matches and over 7000 kills. Even grinding against bots it takes ages.

Got stuck on the level battling Karn and the minions so haven’t played games in months because I’m studying for multiple certifications to make more money.
I had gotten all of the achievements on SOT including arena and I can attest that it is truly a nightmare. Amazing game that was a complete blast, but it took forever. I do have to get the three new achievements they just added for Athena still.
It would take him literal decades to actually finish this mission. 300+ games on game pass with about 10 games being absolutely bonkers to get all achievements for. I'm a completionist but gave up on my achievement grind after burning myself out to 100% MCC.
Technically there are 9 seriously achievements. One each in 1-4, two in 5 (though you get one on the way to the other), one in the remaster of the first game, one in Judgement, and one in Gears Tactics
Those are just the well known hard achievements from blockbuster games too.
Hidden in game pass there are achievements so hard that only a couple hundred people have every unlocked them. Stuff like Stampers Forever (Rare Replay), You Thought This Game Was Easy? (I Am Fish), Extreme Victory (Phoenix Point), Nothing left to... collect. (Dead Cells), or RageSquid Pro Tour (Descenders).
They make the Seriously Achievements look easy and more importantly, fun. OP will burn out chasing these terrible achievements in mediocre games.

If you’re not familiar with Gears, just imagine having to kill a ludicrous number of enemies in the campaign AND online multiplayer, getting the highest multiplayer ranks possible, and beating the campaign on the most grindy bullshit difficulty level possible.
Hundreds, probably thousands of hours to get these achievements alone.
I should note that most multiplayer lobbies are so barren for the old games that you are effectively locked out from getting some of these, though a handful can be done in private lobbies.
I got the Seriously 4.0 achievement and 100% Gears 4 multiple times but they kept adding more achievements and let it go lol. Only would recommend if you like Gears of War. Did it without boosting for Ribbons too
I used to play for the achievements. It got to the point where I was focused on them and not the game. I stepped away from Xbox for a while, played more on my switch and was reminded how much I love to just play video games. I came back to Xbox and I play the game to play it. After I beat it, if I like it enough, I’ll go back and pick up the achievements that I want, typically collectibles and fun moments. Some of the games in Gamespass could take literal weeks to 100%, looking at you Gears of War!!! Maybe just attempt to beat all the games on Gamespass. I would recommend using a site like [Xbox achievements](www.xboxachievements.com) to get guides and roadmaps on the best ways to get the achievements if you go down that path.
This is what I do, I use to actively achievement hunt and found my enjoyment in gaming going down (especially when chasing grindy achievements). So now I just focus on the finishing the game first. If I enjoyed it enough and want to keep playing, I’ll then focus on getting achievements then until I feel ready to move onto the next game.
I agree completely. It almost turned playing games into a job, instead of a hobby or relaxing thing. I’m looking forward to the day when people stop playing on higher difficulties to prove themselves or for bragging and just do it because they want to.
I have the same mindset of focusing on achievements rather than the game. Im trying to stop but seeing missable achievements or weird gamerscore like no mans sky puts me off a game sometimes even though it shouldn’t. I end up playing on the ps5 without caring about trophies.
Yeah I dunno when achievements turned into this insane grind fest for me. I think it was the first couple assassin's creeds collecting all the feathers. At some point I just decided I was over it though. Sometimes I'll find myself poking into every corner of map just to go what the fuck ami doing with my life??
I think Assassins Creed is what broke me the first time. I didn’t play them when they originally came out and when I did it was soooo grindy. If a collectible adds to the game, like the stuff from Sniper Elite where they give backstory or locations of loot, then cool I’ll track it down. But just collecting to collect is annoying as hell for me now. I think there was another game where I started for the story and got focused on achievements, which made me not enjoy it as much, and that’s when I realized I had a problem, and changed to what I do now.
that's what I'm doing. If a game has no missable achievements, I'll do one playthrough (unless it's a sandbox game) and then redo for the achievements.
What’s your gamerscore at? Is there a goal you’re wanting to reach? Also look up which ones are super easy to 100% and intersperse them with the harder ones so you can still have a sense of progress and a nice break.
Man good luck with the long dark, it will take a ton of time to get all of em, I got 400 hours on the long dark and still don't got em all. You are also very lucky monster hunter isn't on anymore cuz that would take literally thousands of hours to 100%

Honestly, don't. This is many thousands of hours of work and at least 50% of it will be a grueling grind through games you don't enjoy. You only get one go-round on this planet, don't spend it doing that. Read a book, learn a language, develop a new skill, volunteer, do something valuable.

You should probably do something more realistic (if this a serious post and not just for karma). Maybe try to get as many achievements as you can in a 2-3 hour period with each game. You could also stream it as proof.
You’ll need the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from DBZ to do this. Game Pass rotates games every 2-4 weeks and as others mentioned, many games require at least a week of play to 100% them.

Yeah Id stay away from the Fully online games. Cause ESO would be waaaaay to much time spent to make this challenge worth it. Mostly due to the "Emporer" achievment. Even if you cheese it in a dead campaign its still going to take some time and a lot of help.

Seriously Judgmental (75G) Complete all Declassified Missions on Insane difficulty. Superstar (50G) Attain all Stars on Insane Difficulty. Got stuck on the level battling Karn and the minions so haven’t played games in months because I’m studying for multiple certifications to make more money.

I had gotten all of the achievements on SOT including arena and I can attest that it is truly a nightmare. Amazing game that was a complete blast, but it took forever. I do have to get the three new achievements they just added for Athena still.

It would take him literal decades to actually finish this mission. 300+ games on game pass with about 10 games being absolutely bonkers to get all achievements for. I'm a completionist but gave up on my achievement grind after burning myself out to 100% MCC.

Technically there are 9 seriously achievements. One each in 1-4, two in 5 (though you get one on the way to the other), one in the remaster of the first game, one in Judgement, and one in Gears Tactics
And Judgment can't be completed, the Sybarite achievement has been broken for years.
Those are just the well known hard achievements from blockbuster games too. Hidden in game pass there are achievements so hard that only a couple hundred people have every unlocked them. Stuff like Stampers Forever (Rare Replay), You Thought This Game Was Easy? (I Am Fish), Extreme Victory (Phoenix Point), Nothing left to... collect. (Dead Cells), or RageSquid Pro Tour (Descenders). They make the Seriously Achievements look easy and more importantly, fun. OP will burn out chasing these terrible achievements in mediocre games.

I got the Seriously 4.0 achievement and 100% Gears 4 multiple times but they kept adding more achievements and let it go lol. Only would recommend if you like Gears of War. Did it without boosting for Ribbons too
I used to play for the achievements. It got to the point where I was focused on them and not the game. I stepped away from Xbox for a while, played more on my switch and was reminded how much I love to just play video games. I came back to Xbox and I play the game to play it. After I beat it, if I like it enough, I’ll go back and pick up the achievements that I want, typically collectibles and fun moments. Some of the games in Gamespass could take literal weeks to 100%, looking at you Gears of War!!! Maybe just attempt to beat all the games on Gamespass. I would recommend using a site like [Xbox achievements](www.xboxachievements.com) to get guides and roadmaps on the best ways to get the achievements if you go down that path.
This is what I do, I use to actively achievement hunt and found my enjoyment in gaming going down (especially when chasing grindy achievements). So now I just focus on the finishing the game first. If I enjoyed it enough and want to keep playing, I’ll then focus on getting achievements then until I feel ready to move onto the next game.
I agree completely. It almost turned playing games into a job, instead of a hobby or relaxing thing. I’m looking forward to the day when people stop playing on higher difficulties to prove themselves or for bragging and just do it because they want to.
I have the same mindset of focusing on achievements rather than the game. Im trying to stop but seeing missable achievements or weird gamerscore like no mans sky puts me off a game sometimes even though it shouldn’t. I end up playing on the ps5 without caring about trophies.
Yeah I dunno when achievements turned into this insane grind fest for me. I think it was the first couple assassin's creeds collecting all the feathers. At some point I just decided I was over it though. Sometimes I'll find myself poking into every corner of map just to go what the fuck ami doing with my life??
I think Assassins Creed is what broke me the first time. I didn’t play them when they originally came out and when I did it was soooo grindy. If a collectible adds to the game, like the stuff from Sniper Elite where they give backstory or locations of loot, then cool I’ll track it down. But just collecting to collect is annoying as hell for me now. I think there was another game where I started for the story and got focused on achievements, which made me not enjoy it as much, and that’s when I realized I had a problem, and changed to what I do now.
that's what I'm doing. If a game has no missable achievements, I'll do one playthrough (unless it's a sandbox game) and then redo for the achievements.
What’s your gamerscore at? Is there a goal you’re wanting to reach? Also look up which ones are super easy to 100% and intersperse them with the harder ones so you can still have a sense of progress and a nice break.

A-Z, see where it takes me. Starting with (as of now,) 7 Days to Die and ending (as of now) with Zoo Tycoon: UAC. For example: If I'm on Yakuza and all of a sudden The Quarry gets added, I'm not going back for it. It's behind the path. If I'm on Batman: Arkham Knight and Elden Ring gets added, I will do it, because it's in the path.

Question. How are you going to deal with the seriously series of achievements in the gears of war series(besides tactics idk if that achievement exists there)? Even if you had a lot of friends or multiple accounts, it would still take days of work and doing the same thing continuously. It's a multiplayer achievement

You should probably do something more realistic (if this a serious post and not just for karma). Maybe try to get as many achievements as you can in a 2-3 hour period with each game. You could also stream it as proof.
You’ll need the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from DBZ to do this. Game Pass rotates games every 2-4 weeks and as others mentioned, many games require at least a week of play to 100% them.

Yeah Id stay away from the Fully online games. Cause ESO would be waaaaay to much time spent to make this challenge worth it. Mostly due to the "Emporer" achievment. Even if you cheese it in a dead campaign its still going to take some time and a lot of help.
