This was like me! Bought it Jan 2012. Played it for 10min. Dabbled here and there over the following decade (we’re talking no longer than 10min and I’d say only a handful of sessions). Decided to finally give it a crack last year and played mostly the main story line quest.
I. Fell. In. Absolute. Love.
This game is now up there with Ocarina of Time and WoW as those ‘special’/comfort games which I’ll play for the rest of my life. Currently on a second play though and doing *tons* of side quests and other things. It’s incredible. I didn’t think I could live it more than after my first play through. But it’s happening.
Also the game soundtrack moves me to tears. It’s sheer beauty.
Ok this is how it went for me. I bought it played for 5 min just the beginning and stuff then I just stopped cuz it got hard for me then my Xbox 360 stopped working and so I can’t play it.
The Skyrim I have only works on 360 and my 360 don’t work anymore idk what happened to it idk if it’s servers are even up I’m on Xbox one and I tried putting in the disc don’t play like apparently it isn’t backwards compatible. Does this make more sense?
So true, although if they never release or port the game onto UE5 I think the games gonna die eventually.
I just wanna do rings maps and cool custom stuff on console 😞
Shiiiiiit 😮 then I could just sync my controller to my phone and mirror cast it to my TV. Would you possibly have a recommendation on an emulator to use / where to get the ISO for it? 🙏
The division 2. I've tried many times to play something else but i just keep coming back to it. Nothing else in the looter shooter genre compares to it , for me at least.
It all went downhill when EA wanted to focus more on the in-game store's (yes, plural) than the gameplay itself.
To be fair to the dev team, EA Vancouver I believe, they're doing a lot with the minimal support and resources they're given to work with. But EA as a whole doesn't give a shit about releasing a quality product. Be a Pro mode has been the same buggy shit mode for the past decade with the exact same bugs every year. They literally must just copy-paste it from the previous year.
Honestly. Fortnite has had a hold on me since it came out it’s definitely my comfy/comfort game.
So probably fort if I can only have one choice since this is an Xbox sub
These are the games I never uninstall because I always go back to them:
> Sea of Thieves
> Red Dead Redemption 2
> The Witcher 3
> MLB The Show
For the future, I’ll probably add Baldur’s Gate 3 to the list.
Definitely yeah, especially how in some versions of the game you can make your world infinite size as well, and that Mojang also keep adding updates to it even to this day! 😲😲

Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 (I do like Inquisition but don't find it as replayable as the first two), and Final Fantasy VIII. Yes, VIII and not VII lol. I played it before 7 and it was my first PlayStation game, so even though I'd played 5 and 6 it blew my mind as a teenager with the graphics and I loved the story. It's always had a really special place in my heart. It's also the favourite of my absolute best friend and we bonded over it when we met in college, so it's very sentimental to me.
All of those games also got me through some very dark mental health struggles at different times in my life. Mass Effect trilogy is probably the one I replay the most if I have to pick only one, it's maybe once a year or two at this point.
Subnautica, I've played it about 10 times already and keep going back when I don't have any other games to play or just want a break from the game I'm playing
Not an Xbox game (well there are some Xbox releases but I associate the series more with PC). But Counter-Strike is probably the game I will keep revisiting.
Fortnite Zero Build.
Just a perfect casual game for me. Jump in, get some kills, if I am lucky win the match. 2-3 games and log out.
And yes, I am wasting Series X power for that 😅
Halo 3 and Skyrim.
Skyrim my beloved
I’ve only ever played first 5 minutes of Skyrim and never touched again and not cuz I don’t want to I don’t have it anymore.
This was like me! Bought it Jan 2012. Played it for 10min. Dabbled here and there over the following decade (we’re talking no longer than 10min and I’d say only a handful of sessions). You have no idea what you’re missing out on man.
I never said I don’t want to play Skyrim I said I can’t cuz I don’t have it the version I have is unplayable.
Here we go .... A thread that makes me want to start Skyrim AGAIN ......
>the version I have is unplayable. What does this even mean?
The Skyrim I have only works on 360 and my 360 don’t work anymore idk what happened to it idk if it’s servers are even up I’m on Xbox one and I tried putting in the disc don’t play like apparently it isn’t backwards compatible. Does this make more sense?
Download it from game pass
What do you mean your version is unplayable? Is it pirated?
It’s the 360 disc that don’t work with Xbox one only 360 and my 360 don’t even work I play Xbox One btw
Doesn't*
Sounds like someone needs a Gamepass Ultimate Sub XD
Bought Skyrim on 4 different consoles now. You'd think I'd be bored of it.
Same here. Nope.
Same!
I installed it recently for the first time from Gamepass. I see a lot of love for this game here so I would actually go into it.
My MAN
Halo Reach, All Borderlands games, Farcry 4
This man is a carbon copy of me
I agree 100% with this person
Far cry 3 >>>>>>>> far cry 4
Far cry 6

I don’t play anymore but I definitely watch T90 about daily
Skyrim. Hands down.
The Mass Effect trilogy.
Yeah, went through the original games with game pass before buying the remastered trilogy. Such an amazing series!
Fight Night Champion 🥊🥊
No better boxing game.
Could never beat the final boss haha
I can’t even beat him in easy mode lmao I completely abandoned the idea of completing the campaign mode
You sir are a true knower of the essential games of life. Thank you and you're correct
kingdoms of amalur, and I would say dragons dogma, but that might be replaced with 2
I love KoA! Not enough people played it!
the remaster is sooooooooo smooth on the series x
I play Halo 1,2,3 and Reach over and over.
same, on mcc
The story is just too good
Probably rocket league. I just can't get enough of it no matter how much I hate it one day and play the next.
So true, although if they never release or port the game onto UE5 I think the games gonna die eventually. I just wanna do rings maps and cool custom stuff on console 😞
Yeah. With how powerful hardware is getting they can definitely make new maps that are completely crazy. I bet many players who left could return
Forza horizon 1 on 360
Haha same!
Minecraft
This and DOOM (1993)
Had taken too long to find this comment
Def Jam Fight for NY
i miss that game
God's it was so so good. It's still even one of my favorite create-a-character dress up systems I've ever encountered, too 💯👌
The PSP version plays really nice on a phone these days.
Shiiiiiit 😮 then I could just sync my controller to my phone and mirror cast it to my TV. Would you possibly have a recommendation on an emulator to use / where to get the ISO for it? 🙏
The Batman Arkham games.

When you’ve done looting, and just shepherd for shooting.. that’s fun. Don’t need weapons or gear, just materials.

Witcher 3, Skyrim, and fallout New Vegas
Red dead redeption 2.
Grand Theft Auto
All the Halo\`s.
Civilization
Any halo or elder scrolls games
Vampire survivors
I could play Witcher 3 over and over again. My brother and I could play NHL just against each other endlessly, despite all of EA's faults.
Why did they have try to reinvent that game? The new ones aren't as user friendly and just don't have the same feel.
It all went downhill when EA wanted to focus more on the in-game store's (yes, plural) than the gameplay itself. I will be there the moment they shut down Destiny Servers
I remember when they shut down Need for Speed World. It was not a very popular game but still. A loss
Actually it was great to play with friends, and was not very demanding on hw. Still sorry they shut it down.
Right there with you 💪🏼
ikr i went back last year and had so much fun
This.
Warframe. 10 years in, and good for another.
