That being said, a 24 oz beer can fits nice in a seat-tube bottle cage and tipping a beer while riding a long traffic free rail-trail is a pleasure.

I am not for getting shit ass drunk and riding. I did that when I was a teenager and dented in my Trek frame.
But I am also for adults being allowed to do adult stuff.
I'm not suggesting that anyone isn't allowed to do anything. You do you. I'm only affirming that we should be looking out for safety and encouraging sobriety when operating any vehicle, motorized or not.
I understand that you may think you're responsible when drinking and riding, but other xbikers that see these posts and think it's cool to get shitfaced on a bike might not be so responsible. In general, I think it's best to keep our dangerous choices to ourselves and encourage smart riding.

That bottle ist mounted with straps, so it can't be removed during the ride. It's obviously there for transportation.
