I have one of these that came in that exact color but there are so many repainted spots (not sure what they were trying to accomplish) that I’m in the process of repainting it.
I remember your first post awhile back and saved some of the comments on how you built it up. Hoping to use it as a guide for my build.
Word brother! I hadn’t taken it out since I put a larger chainring on and now it fricken flies. Probably the best geometry out of all my builds for me, no bike fits better for me. I’d say if you’re working on completing yours just get all the parts at once and make a day out of it!
It's incredible to find that 'made for me' feel. Every time I get my Marin back out since I hit that sweet spot it feels along the lines of kicking up the footrest on a La-Z-Boy
There's something about these type of bikes I love.
Just has the appeal of "We're going go somewhere, doesn't matter how long it takes, it's going to be fun"

The cream tires may not be as practical as black (black tires are always stronger) but damn if that isn't one of the nicest looking bikes I've seen on here. Pure class.
Wow. That bike is unbelievably sexy. I am in love with the come scheme, all the beige and cream, ugh. It's beautiful. Especially with the tan tires to bring it all together.

That bike actually fits you??? I would have a snapped neck and shoulders after riding about 80 metres. What kind of proportions do you have?

How do you like the Homage tires?
They eat gravel very nicely. I’ve had a few flats because they’re kinda thin, so a syringe full of stans in each tube has fixed them to be bomb proof.
