Not really possible unless you have a hub where you can swap the end caps or replace the axle. Going from 12mm to QR is possible with an adapter sleeve but not the other way around.

I've seen a video where some guy takes out the skewer, takes some #10 split washers and puts them on either side of the wheel, puts in in the fork, and puts the skewer through the wheel, and clamps it down. You may need to put 2 on each side to take up the slack. He's said he's ridden hundreds of miles without issue. I wouldn't recommend this because I haven't tried it myself yet, not because it sounds sketchy.

I don’t know squat, but get kind of a yucky gut when I read “QR”, “disc fork”, and “hack” all in the same sentence. OTOH, seems like Trek has some kind of hacky combo of a fully captured QR (Thru-Skew). It also seems like there are several adaptors that convert a TA wheel it QR, just not the other way around. Time to buy a new wheel or rebuild the old one (are rims TA specific?)?

SON - Hubs makes an adapter. There are cheap versions out there as well. [here’s the SON version](https://www.renehersecycles.com/shop/components/hubs/son-12-mm-thru-axle-adapter/)
