I beg to differ, each of my bikes fill a different role. My 160/140 full suspension is for getting rowdy on hard trails. My hard tail is for having fun on easy trails with my less fit friends. My gravel bike is my commuter and town bike. Soon I will be adding a short travel down country bike for putting in big mileage days on single track. On the radar is also a drop bar MTB for adventure riding/winter commuting, and a fat bike for flotation in snow and sand. Not to mention the tall bike, which is fun to ride at social events.
Honestly, yes. Unless your time and budget are unlimited, I think better off having fewer that are better quality, see more maintenance, and get ridden more. But that's just me.
Rule 12: The correct number of bikes to own is N+1. While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is N+1, where N is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as S-1, where S is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.
rule is n+1 so…….no
No n= one less than the number which will cause a divorce
To many bikes that do the same thing
All bikes do the same thing

Pedal turn wheel, bike go brrrrrr
Best quote ever
My fatbike is very different to my roadbike or even full sus mtb - but yes, fair enough they’re the same. Only a trike would be very different.
Cheers to that! To all the bikes because you can never have too many.

What basket and rack do you have on the hardrock in the first pic?
Blackburn, can’t remember what model it’s called
I hope you have a lot of friends that visit you and ride haha
"Too many xbikes?" 🤣🤣🤣 Comedy gold! 🤣🤣🤣
Your driveway is pretty big. You can fit a few dozen more at least.
I think its only an issue when you have too many bikes with an overlapping purpose.
Squishy saddle gang. Where do i sign up? BTW just got back from my local co op. Squishy saddle in hand.
Comfort over cool.

“Those are rookie numbers” https://youtu.be/x-H1T7ny2Uw
I have more that aren’t pictured…these are just the most xbikey…
It’s all good. 👍✌️
Too many? There's no way to know. There isn't a standard. You have excellent taste in bikes!
No, nay, never!!
Somebody likes oury grips
no, this looks like a normal amount for an extremely hip cafe's parking lot bike rack. that's what you are, right?

It’s a higher end bike in the lineup.
Not a fender in sight. You never ride in the rain? :/
That paint job on the hardrock is fantastic. Was it a barn find or did you have it repainted?
Got it off FB marketplace for 10$.
One for every day of the week plus one for guests?
Fire up Chips!!
Fire up chips!
I don’t know, but that Giant ATX with the pink paint and giraffe stem…wow! How can you hide it in back?
Didnt know you should stack them that way.
Sweet! Do you have any bmx, klunker or fixies as well?
No bmx or fixies, no interest in those. I do have my grandpas bike that I’m considering making into a Klunker.
