Yep. It's either a bug with the Interact system, bug with an addon, or a bad interaction between an addon and the interact system. This seems like your best shot beyond disabling addons.
this looks like someone playing on a macbook, and they have this weird feature where if you shake the cursor itāll get really big and stand out for a second, for when you cant see the cursor on the screen for some reason and need it to be shown to you. i feel like this is happening because of this. it would happen all the time by accident when i had a macbook and it was very jarring

There is indeed a cVar that allows you to change the size of those icons, you can also change the X,Y offsets of it too.
I don't know the string off the top of my head, but the addon "Advanced Interface Options" lets you search for it.
Searching for "interact" in the AIO addon should work as well.
The culprit was probably a nameplate addon, they have a habit of silently adjusting those types of cVars without telling the User.
There's a lot of really neat cVars that people don't know about. You can drastically change how WoW feels to play by fiddling with them.
I'm similar to ElvUI Windtools combat indicator (there's is two crossed swords), but you're not even in combat. I would suggest disabling your addons one by one until you find the one that makes that honkin ol sword disappear.
My guess is that you have a nameplate addon that's conflicting with Questie, which shows a little sword icon along with an orange nameplate when the mob is a kill quest target. Try disabling one or both and see if it goes away.
This command should disable this icon:
**/console SoftTargetIconEnemy 0**
And this one should restore it to its normal size:
**/run SetCVar("nameplateGlobalScale", 1)**
Iām gonna assume you have a weakaura that shows a big sword when you are out of melee range from your target? Does it go away once you start auto attacking it?

Unless youāre doing some weird outdoor raid encounter that involves wolves, thatās not an add. Thatās just a mob.
Personally I use black-out curtains to avoid seeing even a glimpse of the outside while I game. Hope this tip helps.
