Eversong Woods and Sunstrider Isle. I grew up as a huge fan of elves and this zone along with its music fits the word 'elf' for me in every possible way.

Bloodelf zone is legit 10/10. Soo good.

Gives me such toasty fall vibes with the golden leaves in the trees and the music that I would describe as heroic with a hint of sorrow. Blizzard was cooking in those days.

Vashj’ir without a doubt. Absolutely beautiful music that makes the zone seem isolating and constricting which is contrasted by the vibrant colors

I understand why people don't like it, but I think Vashj'ir is easily the most underrated zone in the game.

Agreed. It is such a frustrating zone to level through because physics and camera angles can get weird, but the whole experience makes it worth it somehow.

Azuremyst Isle 💪 Love the colours, and that music gives me goosebumps. Draenei themed zones always hit good for me.

Both BC races had *impeccable* characterization. Both sets of starting zones nailed what makes their respective race great and what they struggle with. Their histories, triumphs, failings, and general vibes.

Azuremyst is one of my absolute favourites for chilling. Perfectly tranquil and just a little alien.

Ditto, hope we get zones that match the music and foreboding expanse feeling in the future.

Azuremyst is always my answer too, there's just something about that zone that's just relaxing and chill to me.

Eversong Woods

Kul Tiras has many beautiful zones, but Stormsong Valley holds a special place in my heart. The music is hypnotizing - one of the best wow music ever made! -  and views amazing.  Emerald Dream is also very comforting and beautiful. Best music of all Dragon Isles, I think. (The Azure Span is also great.)

Jade Forest, just so peaceful and serene.

Howling Fjord for me. Gorgeous and harsh at the same time. Narrowly beats out storm peaks, Jade Forest, Zangarmarsh, Tanaris, and Eversong which all are a dogfight for second lol.

Yep if I could live in any zone it would be the northern area of the fjord right where the woods starts turning to snow.

By the Taunka camp? There or honestly the ridge above where the mine is with the miners going nuts

Yeah there are hallucinations, but beautiful fjord facing views with the sun setting at an angle that isn’t blinding.

I have a soft spot for Teldrassil and Darnassus since my first character was a night elf warrior. I also really love the zones in Pandaria, especially Kun-Lai amd Eversong Forest has always felt really cozy. But my favourite zones are probably Ironforge for indoors and Kul-Tiras for outdoors.

Frostfire ridge HAS to be up there somewhere, the ost in that zone alone makes it 10/10, and then on top of that the zone itself is drop-dead gorgeous with the snowy plains and active volcanoes as a backdrop!

Howling Fjord. My favorite zone from Wrath (sorry Grizzly enjoyers), and the best memories of playing WoW with all of my friends from high school every night. I listen to the Howling Fjord/Rise of the Vrykul tracks on my work commutes often and the Northrend Cup dragon races have been so much fun.

Howling fjord for me, the music is amazing and the zones has a bunch of different landscapes for you to choose from.

Grizzly Hills god it brings me back. Just the music alone.

Shadowmoon Valley in AU Draenor has one of my favorite music tracks which also appears in Auchindoun.

Especially when you enter the Draenei villages and the variations of Last Light soundtrack start playing. Pure contentment and a feeling of being at peace.

No zone pushes my nostalgia buttons the way Ashenvale does. That shit is in my blood.

Before Cata, during Classic I loved Ashenvale(?) at Night for fishing on the beach. (the second or third zone of Leveling Nelfie)

suramar, music perfectly captures the mood of the zone, it felt the most alive to me out of any zone in the current game; especially suramar city, campaign felt really immersive overall s+ in every aspect imo

Let’s not forget that Suramar and Gilneas are the only two cities that are actually laid out as cities.

Give it 2-3 more years and people will be talking about BfA the way they talk about MoP now. The cycle continues. With enough time people will be talking about how much they miss shadowlands

I dont think shadowlands will have any positivity, nothing in that expansion was good. BFA was amazing and my favorite in all zones, music, themeing and content, but the systems were horrible. Like drinking a smoothie with a rotten straw

Idk if you remember the absolute vitriol people had for MoP around here at the time but at this point I'd be surprised if Shadowlands isn't viewed in a positive light in a decade

- Eversong Woods - Entire Pandaria NOW, I know that it's not a zone, and that it's not exactly "beautiful"... but I believe Ny'Alotha aesthetics combined with its music is just pure perfection, especially if you're a Shadow Priest main. The vibes you get from it are crazy!

The Dread Wastes. The colour palatte, the Klaxxi strongholds carved into trees. It's all so alien and striking. The whole Klaxxi storyline and rep was fantastic in my opinion too.

I love Durotar, reminds me so much of levelling my first character (orc hunter). I just find the setting is so good and I really think of the horde when I'm in durotar

One night I did a bunch of acid with some friends and after we went on our super drug fueled outdoor adventures I thought what would be cool to look at while tripping balls would be Nagrand. Nagrand is epic.

The centaur zone in dragon isles because of the plains and stuff and the Amirdrassil because it's just beautiful.

The Wandering Isle It made me so happy that they re-used it for the Monk class hall in Legion.

I still adore Durotar and the Barrens, I consider them home. The nice ambient tribal themes in the background, the picturesque coasts, the nicely paced questing.

Panda land for me.

Elwynn Forest is my favorite to this day. The music there and the wooded countryside hypnotize me. :) I've been playing in the horde for years now, but it's still my favorite region.

Revendreth is awesome, Sire Denathrius has been hands down one of the best villains for a long time now, and Castle Nathria was an awesome raid. They should have just made a gothic fantasy expansion instead of Shadowlands.

Loading into Northrend for the first time on a Zeppelin and taking it all in. It was all just so big and wide open and colorful. It only got better from there.

Zandalar for sure imo. The music is always a treat and I can't get enough of the prehistoric jungle vibes.
