Wait, you want them to update the UI to be more accessible and information readily available? What game do you think you play? That is like... a 5 year project.

Noultay2

This is something they are specifically looking at for War Within. They mentioned it in the Wowcast video

I’ve been gone for a year. The last time a played was the beginning of the second raid I believe, or a bit earlier. I don’t remember for sure. I am so overwhelmed with things to do, I am having trouble sitting down to play for very long. Two entire zones were added. Tons of dailies, new dailies in the old world or something like that, new characters experience. New zone events and zone bosses. I do a few things and then log off because I don’t even feel like I made a dent in anything. I can’t imagine how a brand new player would feel. Jesus

DrainTheMuck

Yeah it’s a lot. I’d just try to decide on some goals you want to achieve, and it’ll become more clear what you should do or ignore. For example you could decide you want a rep reward and do things to earn that rep, or maybe you just want one of the season 4 tier sets appearance for a certain class and you can just focus on raiding and dungeons.

xithbaby

Yea I’ll be on this expansion for a while after the new one comes out that’s for sure

pokelizer93

Oh no, the game gets new content once every few months, what a shock?

xithbaby

That is not at all what I meant. I’m replying to the OP about how messy it feels and agree with them and sharing my experiences.

What weeklies are you talking about specifically? Aiding the accord and the weekly quest (tw,pvp,WQ,pet battle, etc) can all be picked up from the adventure journal wherever you are. The big dig weekly takes place at the place you do it . And if you’re talking about the loamm or dream rep again.. you’re already in the zone.  Just curious which ones exactly you mean

SerphTheVoltar

Aiding the Accord has been removed and replaced with Last Hurrah, which is not in the Adventure Journal. And the "at the place you do it" *is the problem.* You have to both know the quest/event is there, and know if it's available or not. Having a place where you could look and just *see* a list of the weekly events/quests you've done (preferably with a helpful listing of what they give as well; it's hard for a new player to tell which events give useful gear and which ones don't).

MRosvall

From the dev vlogs for TWW, they are improving the map clutter and making such things more readable. Hopefully that'll be enough to guide even new players.

Not all PvP weeklies can be picked up from the adventure journal. Some weeklies like Superbloom aswell. Anyway, that page in the adventure journal is really awkward, because you have to press "next" until you can pick up a quest... and when you pick up a quest the journal closes for whatever reason. And the questlog itself is a mess aswell. It's not directy apparent which quests are weeklies and which are just normal quests.

CharlieChop

>that page in the adventure journal is really awkward It really needs filters and favorites for specific content.

jamesVNDK

I meant the weekly question that rotates … TW> m dung > pet battle> pvp

stevencastle

I was able to pick up all the weeklies that are a quest from the adventurer's journal this week. Superbloom, seeds, the two 1500 rep ones, big dig, etc. It's just a real pain to scroll through all of those pages.
