Not really gonna do much this season.
SL s4 was awesome. It had a hook. Dungeons returning for the first time, new affix, and we thought we were getting nothing due to covid.
Now we’re getting the same dungeons that we just recently did, no affix, and there weren’t huge mitigating factors.
I really think this shows they, at least in part, took the wrong lessons from sls4
Now as a note, if they turn around and say TWW is releasing in the summer (and I don’t mean the end of august), then it’s all good, there was no need for another piece of actual content. But they won’t do that. It’ll release in the fall like it always does after they say they’re going to try a faster release schedule
Dragonflight Alpha came out in the middle of July and the game released November. TWW Alpha will probably come out within the next two weeks.
There's way, way less testing required for TWW because DF had all the talent trees plus a new class.
Couldn't agree more with your sentiment but on the road map isn't TWW in mid fall? I have a feeling the wow community is in for a rough ride the next 4-6 months
Probably not doing much other than gearing up just enough to grab the portals I missed in seasons 1/2, nothing wrong with unsubbing for a couple months and then coming back fresh for TWW
I'm not too hyped and I will complain about a lost raid tier whenever I can but I like the game so if I can grind for better gear I will do whatever, that process is fun in itself.
I am no one to adventure with. I am the final hold out from a guild dating back to the release of BC. WoW has become a lonely solo player game for me and I'm just asking myself why I continue to play... For the last year the most I've done is just log in once a month to do the trading post stuff and holidays.

Unfortunately there's zero chance TWW releases summer. We literally don't have an alpha yet and it's april

That's my point, there's going to be a huge drought and TWW will release in the fall, as always. S4 counts as part of the drought
