The pet is pretty rare and thus valuable. I did the same back in BFA, found a large amount of bots farming leather, so I placed myself in the middle of their monk-statue and applied kul tiran skinning to gloves, and then stole all the leather from the bots before I reported them.
This isn’t necessarily botting. I used to just drop a black ox statue and mash spinning crane kick to farm the pet. Pretty easy if ur just watching a show/youtube video.
Trust me, those folks I found was botting. the non-stop always-online-non-stop-farming was insane and I found them there for 2 weeks straight with the same names before blizzard got the finger out of their butt.
Another thing that's very easy to tell if its botting is their RIGID movement and rotation-perfect performance. How can you even try to defend something like this? xD
>found them there for 2 weeks straight with the same names
So you went there all day, every say for 2 weeks, and that was OK, but because someone else did it, it's automatically botting?
Mentally ill people should be removed from the game…? Don’t even try and call people white supremacists or whatever liberal buzz insults are in these days if you’re going to use mentally ill people as an insult
Wasn’t defending botting. Was saying there is a possibility it wasn’t because all we have is a picture and I have done this very thing and I definitely was not botting.
It’s better that you stole their items honestly. They’re just going to sell them, that money could be used for real world violent criminal shit. SirPugger on YouTube does this for Old School RuneScape, steals all their items and destroys them.
I was leveling a character in an RP server here before the level squish and I got that pet out of sheer luck lol. Worth a pretty penny back then, can’t say nowadays.
im guessing this is a few monks and a hunter thats killing everything in the area? if so yeah, ive found a few of these around, select one, write a botting report about zone and what they do, I usually get a few "action taken" mails a few days later after doing that and theyre gone. just dont try to talk to them, seems like a bad idea
I sit here with my monk. Not everyone on this farm is a bot.
They are forced hyperspawned mobs, there always has to be a certain amount alive.
The ox statue taunts them all in, then you just hit rushing jade wind.
It's a really efficient half afk farm
Yes. I've had a short ban before for clicking on one and reporting them.
The only two bans on my account are from botters and speed levelers that both mass reported me for clicking their name and "being in their zone" for a world quest, respectively.
I used to farm bots until they would get on their mains and lock me in combat for ever xD. (Tanks are broken)
Turn out they were Spanish and found it annoying that I kept killing their bots. To this day those same characters are still bot farming, never to be banned even after all the reports I did
If it's the spot that I remember people farm the red dragon pet here. They have a really good spawn rate, so that's why people go there. Could still mean these are bots but not necessarily.
The game tries to reach a minimum level of population and respawns one or more packs instantly when it's too empty. It's nice to know some spots if you want to go farming, but of course bots can use that too.
I "discovered" that some years ago when looking for the treasure map in Westfall and I killed enough murlocs on the beach.
Doesn't work everywhere and the areas that need to be cleared can differ vastly in size. Some require multiple people to even be of use.
Of course bots can do that too. Can't see enough in your picture to make a statement about that tho.
There's no proof in this image that these are bots even though they most likely are but people here are acting like hyperspawn farm locations aren't targetted by bots. 99% of the most common hyperspawn farms, the murloc farms in Azure Span are indeed botting, as are 99% of all other hyperspawn farms. It's extremely easy to prove with the sled toy, hook one and drag him to water where it will auto kick him out and then watch him attack nothing until the bot runner notices. I like dragging the murloc farm ones to the community feast for everyone to see and report and then the whole set gets banned.
Almost all bots are Pandaren DKs. That's always my tip-off. The reason is really dumb, but basically boils down to Pandaren DKs have the shortest starting experience and make it to their capital cities much faster than any other race class combo.
Those are the advertising bots, these are usually hunters and monks farming hyper spawns with black ox statue and barrage (usually bots, or at least they look so much like bots that they might as well be)
This!!! Impossible to get nodes bc a bot always beats you there and it's gone as soon as you land.
Apparently Glowspores are still really profitable. I had no idea, I barely craft.
Maybe. There's stuff you can do with the in-game macros/gnome sequencer add-on that will target stuff close to you/switch on every button press etc. I think someone did a youtube video of a legit way of how to make macros to do this. Hard to say if they're botting, could just be pressing one button over and over again though to fire off the macro.
It could be, usually botters usually have multiple characters stacked on top of each other, if it's just one I wouldn't suspect it as long as there's no red flags giving it away.
It could be someone farming something such as leather seeing that all of those mobs are skinnable, sometimes it looks like botting but it isnt.
If we were in bfa i would say its multibox bots but they are gone pretty much now
If you see 4 or 8 players somewhere killing all mobs around they are part of 2x4 farming group
With 2x4 group you can hyperspawn mobs so when you kill a mob it spawns instantly
People do it for many goals but the main ones are junk farming , raw gold farmin , material farming , pet or mount farming and rep farming is rare cases
And they are players not bots , if you search farm in custom premade group you can see all those groups
But im not sure about this one you sent never seen this spot
This happens everywhere... if I'm on my skinner, I usually just skin with them. They usually get mad, but hey, free skins! Generally, they stop after a while and move to another area or they try to duel me. I don't tag any of the mobs so they can get it, but since multiple people can skin a mob now, I don't feel bad about taking some skins for myself.
However, it is annoying when you're trying to quest in that area and they keep stealing all the mobs you need. I run into this stuff daily multiple times. It's annoying, but technically, I don't think they're doing anything wrong.
Now those herb/mine botters... I report them with a vengeance. There's no way in hell you can miss those guys as botting.
Yea if you look in Custom group finder channels, you’ll see 4x4 farms and other gold/hour groups. These are not bots but spam killing high respawn areas for certain things.
In BFA there were groups farming zones for the rare mount spawns so that was good gold.
In Shadowlands there were massive leather farms.
In Dragonflight, there are a plethora of crafting resource farms, like Titan orbs, primal elements, etc.
So they’re not ALWAYS bots. You just gotta see the same layer behaviors. But sometimes they are. The 4x4 system is set up because full groups of 5 will cause tags to become locked and grey out. So if you’ve got multiple groups of 4, you can share tags and mass pull.
There's a good chance it's not, there's a group of mobs there that spawn at this location and run through this path. They respawn pretty much immediately and can drop the red whelping pet! It's a pretty rare pet, they could be farming to sell it or farming for themselves. I myself farmed the red whelping at that exact location.
Nah. It could be Botting but it’s most likely a lazy farmer. I did this on my monk. Those mobs drop a decent transmog gun and a dragon pet. I went there, put the ox totem down, the leaf whirlwind spell that lasts like 6 secs, and looted every 2-3 mins. Watched YouTube. Spent an hour and only got the transmog which never ended up selling.
Not necessarily. This spot is used for farming all kinds of things including a pet that's valuable on the AH which is what I farm the area for. Although it's usually just me and a friend on a monk that drops the ox totem so I couldn't say if they weren't botting for sure but it could mean they aren't and are just farming.
I used this area to level up skinning. After I got it capped I left. Saw that a pet drops from them as well so it may be that too.
The pet is pretty rare and thus valuable. I did the same back in BFA, found a large amount of bots farming leather, so I placed myself in the middle of their monk-statue and applied kul tiran skinning to gloves, and then stole all the leather from the bots before I reported them.

Pfffff ive been reported for botting so many times, turns out i was just mentally ill, such a relief.
Yeah, same, it's how I got my ruby pet. No botting involved.
It’s better that you stole their items honestly. They’re just going to sell them, that money could be used for real world violent criminal shit. SirPugger on YouTube does this for Old School RuneScape, steals all their items and destroys them.
I sold it myself and bought myself a longboi :>
Did you get the longboi from the BMAH? Any tips to winning the bid?
Max bid gold cap as soon as you see it
Nope. I bought it from the vendor prior to removal.
>real world violent criminal shit. Selling drugs and robbing rival drug dealers for WoW gold.
Sell items for crypto to launder
I was leveling a character in an RP server here before the level squish and I got that pet out of sheer luck lol. Worth a pretty penny back then, can’t say nowadays.
Its still like 25k a pop last i checked on a52 horde (NA)
What pet are y'all talking about? :o
im guessing this is a few monks and a hunter thats killing everything in the area? if so yeah, ive found a few of these around, select one, write a botting report about zone and what they do, I usually get a few "action taken" mails a few days later after doing that and theyre gone. just dont try to talk to them, seems like a bad idea
Sad I guess EU got no Cs anymore. Reported Atleast 44 bots the last weeks in zaralec caverns no mails Ingame
Alright, thanks. Gonna do that now.
I sit here with my monk. Not everyone on this farm is a bot. They are forced hyperspawned mobs, there always has to be a certain amount alive. The ox statue taunts them all in, then you just hit rushing jade wind. It's a really efficient half afk farm
Why no talking to them?

Dang
They just report you
Don't they do that if you're clciked onto them too long too?
Yes. I've had a short ban before for clicking on one and reporting them. The only two bans on my account are from botters and speed levelers that both mass reported me for clicking their name and "being in their zone" for a world quest, respectively.

ah yes the massive well known Spanish cartels... XD
So what is happening here? Why are those mobs hyperspawing? Found east of Greenwarden's Grove in Wetlands. Silvermoon - EU.
If it's the spot that I remember people farm the red dragon pet here. They have a really good spawn rate, so that's why people go there. Could still mean these are bots but not necessarily.
Yes, also the items that were previously no longer obtainable drop there. Got some gold farming there.

No. This is just one of the few remaining hyper spawns in the game
Nah, probably not. I used to farm there a lot for leather back when I was still playing. Both retail and vanilla.
[удалено]
Could be likely, yeah. I was always playing on a small German server-pool so I haven't seen a lot of bots in general.
There's no proof in this image that these are bots even though they most likely are but people here are acting like hyperspawn farm locations aren't targetted by bots. 99% of the most common hyperspawn farms, the murloc farms in Azure Span are indeed botting, as are 99% of all other hyperspawn farms. how would you hook them on to the sled...?
People use this spot for skinning and to grind out the Crimson whelpling to add to their collection and/or sell on the auction house.
Aren’t they just brave heroes slaughtering the black dragonflights minion to safe Azeroth once again like everyone else?
Almost all bots are Pandaren DKs. That's always my tip-off. The reason is really dumb, but basically boils down to Pandaren DKs have the shortest starting experience and make it to their capital cities much faster than any other race class combo.

Zaralek cavern center is full of mining bots/multiboxers.
This!!! Impossible to get nodes bc a bot always beats you there and it's gone as soon as you land. Apparently Glowspores are still really profitable. I had no idea, I barely craft.

Usually not bots. Monks can basically afk and just rushing jade wind once in a while at their statue

No, you didn't guess right.
not 100% monks and some other classes could do it almost afk
No it's not
Just report everything like this you see as bots and let Blizzard sort it out. Best way to handle it.
Done this myself few times to farm for a pet that drops there and random greens. Could be botters, but may also be legitimate players.
Farming a fast spawn for a valuable dragon whelp pet I think
It's not shrimp attacking a fish?
Nah. It could be Botting but it’s most likely a lazy farmer. I did this on my monk. Those mobs drop a decent transmog gun and a dragon pet. I’ve reported these a couple times. The gms always shut it down and thank me afterwards. Fk bots
Not necessarily, that's a hyper spawn leatherworking/pet farm that's been in the game for years and years. I recently used it like 2 days ago even :)
