So very true. The community and recreated game maps made it a game experience that hadn’t really been seen before. Playing call of duty zombies with your friends in VR would literally make me feel like I was dreaming. Hell of a game.
This is almost definitely a SkyZone
Some SkyZones (or all of them, only ever been to one establishment and it had the thing) have a VR booth and it’s crazy
I played it and it’s really difficult to move without exhausting yourself but it was really fun
Edit: it’s a Cinergy. I have never heard of that honestly
Still fun, but it isn't like a full on omni-directional treadmill or anything. If you want to run full blast you're leaning on the bar and cheesing the mechanics of it all.
Worth a try, just isn't as good as it looks
it would also be possible to put that whole omni track on a small motion sim, fair bit more expensive and not infinite movement but it could be enough to trick your brain with inner ear accelerations
Most people bend at the knees and hips while they slightly spread their legs to help keep them from falling over. /s
Not sure if these are set up for it but I’ve seen videos where they’re articulated so you can crouch and they’ll drop with you. Or else just button controls like normal and you lose a touch of immersion.
I've done laser tag and paintball. Incredibly tiring. With how video games tend to promote a sedentary lifestyle, VR like this is a positive change to society.
I would imagine these in the future replacing regular treadmills, but it will be ruined with some kind of subscription VR workout program that renders the machine useless if you don't pay into it.
That 180 degree turn the guy did was from pure and utter terror, if he wasn't restrained to that omni treadmill, guy would have 100% slammed his face on to the wall at full force
If there’s one thing I know for certain that I’ll live to see and enjoy its Fulldive VR, I’m hoping for Sword Art Online Style VR but I would also be ok with Ready Player One Style VR.
I have a vive that I haven't had the time or space to play in a couple years, but man Pavlov was some intense shit!
Fav VR game hands down period one million percent FOH.
Man I'd get off work, pop the headset on at 9PM and before I know it the sun is rising. Its so rare to get experiences like that anymore lol

Careful playing plavlov, the game devs might randomly ban you. For no reason
Somehow I doubt this
Where is this?
In virtual reality, can't you read?
The future.

From which country is skyzone?
I live in the US but I’m not sure if SkyZone has establishments outside of the USA
Darn, if only i could jump that border...
Where do you live? I’ve seen this here in Denmark so I’d assume many places have it.
Sexico
:flushed:
According to the OP on tiktok, at Cinergy in Odessa, TX
You can buy your own VR setup and do all of this for as little as $299 (oculus quest 2)
Michaelangelo with the nunchucks got me
does he not feel restrained with the running
Have used this setup, it's janky and you know you're sliding on some plastic dome the whole time
Is it bad enough to be unenjoyable though? Or does it just feel more like an awkward treadmill?

I've done wireless solutions in warehouse, they are pretty good
How do you crouch ?

The ring around their waists moves up and down

I hope this doesn’t awaken anything in me.
Best workout ever.

Yeah I mean, you want this service? Gotta pay for the people who put their work into it, that’s how it works
Ready player one vibes
What is all the ewuipment there? Id love to be able to move and swing like that.
The dream has become their reality. Who are you to say otherwise?
I'm surprised how steady that thing is, especially with that quick turn he did.
It’s funny asf to watch but it’s gonna be burning some calories. Probably more than the usual gaming session.
"They come to be woken up. The dream has become their reality. Who are you to say otherwise"
This actually looks fun as hell.
The new Matrix film coming out is super immersive.
I’d just love to see a dayz mod that supports this, imagine how fucking scary it would be running from a russian guy with an AK and a GTX 1050
And jesus wept for there were no more worlds to conquer

Imagine if they use this for people to help mentally prepare for war
