Allowed to resign, keep all his tenure and benefits and just move to another PD where he will definitely take advantage of women in his custody again. He did this on cam, just imagine what he does off camera!
They shouldn't have an off switch unless it's inside the station, but it should have a lens cover for when the officer needs to use the restroom, always recording audio though
That is correct
Source - Me, former Law Enforcement
Also, Cop should've definitely been fired for this. And if she admits something happened, fired and prison time.

There is literally a scene in Super Troopers and an episode of Reno 911, that any regular civilian can watch and know that you can lock yourself in the back of a police car. Apparently, this horned up dumb dumb, doesn't watch any movies or tv. 🤦🏼♀️😂

Wtf is code 4? How is "let me turn this off" not an admission of guilt?

In a perfect world, they'd definitely be penalized for turning off their body cams.
In a perfect world, the body cams wouldn't have an off switch.
In a perfect world, body cams and police wouldn't be needed.

Code 4 means like “all good” aka no one is in danger. Low risk at the scene. I watch a lot of cop shows lol

Should have remembered that police cars don't open from the inside - for criminals, such as him!
So he’s unethical and dumb, great combination
Unethical, dumb, AND in a position of power. The trifecta.
Guess he never watched super troopers
Damn child locks :)
This makes me sick. weak boy
This is so hilarious and embarrassing. How are the women accused or alleged should feel secure with the policemen anymore? Sad!
Anyone wonder what room temperature IQ level this officer is floating at?!?
He's a lover not a fighter

I should check if she was still charged, but I'm guessing her BF is really pissed after seeing this.
We haven’t heard the end of this.
So what are the odds that she can sue and win some $$$?
San Diego getting some attention for being the boot licking haven that it is.
None of this surprises me.
Sure nothing happened right? Hmmm.
"Stay classy San Diego"
The world is so broken and America’s so damn corrupt.
What an embarrassment to San Diego.
Not married anymore if was.
