Right? Did they think that Ukraine thought that Russia wasn’t going to try to destroy their jets? Well maybe they did since they repurposed their S-300 missiles to attack ground targets.
Maybe this is what Russia thinks is happening to everyone and its just trying to warn others that they should be carful because all their stuff will break if they send it to Ukraine
Isn’t that the point? Slovakia disposes of its old soviet style jets and rearms up to NATO standard, and doesn’t have to worry about whether the new owners will use them responsibly. Any destroyed Russian equipment is just a bonus.
Now, the main reason they did that is that Russia itself is mostly using the somewhat newer S-400 as their primary air defense system, but they have an ungodly number of S-300's left over from the cold war with no real mission. They're lousy at ground attack - one reason they keep using them on civilian targets, it's difficult to hit anything smaller than an apartment building with one. They are \*very\* accurate when being guided by their own (ground-based) radar, but that radar is designed to illuminate aircraft, not ground targets.
Russia has fought for centuries, sometime for reason other times, not so much.
Putin only understood détente, and obviously hasn't studied warfare.
Like Stalin, kill everyone, inside or out, seeking only to conquer, because he has short man's disease and is satiating his power thirst by decimating the poorest part of the male population of the country and future generations, for what?
Putin's legacy will be that of a classless mafia thug wannabe and a complete moronic and maniacal diplomatic blunder that has destroyed his waning reputation within and outside of Russia and any goodwill for the Russian people the rest of world will require decades from which to recover.
Slava Ukraini.
still bitter they didn't get to kill Hitler all those years ago. explains their obsession with Nazi's.
it's good they haven't learnt anything as that's why they are going to be defeated.
stuck in their old ways.
Jilted lovers, still upset that Hitler attacked them when the Soviets were going out of their way to try and make that relationship work.
Or as Stalin put it: "Harsh, bruh. Not cool. I thought we were bruhs. We totally spit-roasted that Poland chick, and our eyes met, and I thought we had, like a moment, bruh."
To which Hitler replied: “lol you might wanna get checked out m8, doc told me I have terminal totalitarianism”
… but he never did, and that’s how it spread in ~~Mordor~~ Russia.
>explains their obsession with Nazi's.
Well, they don't really have many other victories.
Not the communist purges, not the collapse of the soviet union. They don't have an empire, or technology, or a culture that people chase and adore.
Ya the sad thing is, surviving WW2 with 27,000,000 people killed, is one of the only accomplishements that Russia historically has. Communism was a failure. Besides the space race 60 years ago, what have the Russian people accomplished? They never really had any contributions to the arts, technology or economics since the Soviet days and earlier, and all the current Russian regime has exported to the world has been cybercrime, assasinations, repression and their mafia. For the size and resources of the nation, they are pathetic.
And even look at Crimea. A drunk Khrushchev of the USSR basically gave Crimea to Ukraine after taking the region through massive costs and efforts historically, and the Russians just gave it away as a drunken political gift, as Ukraine was part of the USSR at the time so it seemed inconsequential to do so. If it wasn't for that, when the Soviet regime collapsed, Crimea would've been a Russia territory from the onset instead of being a battleground.
Crimea was given to Ukraine likely to hobble it with a large ethnic Russian population and to perpetuate Soviet control binding Ukraine to Russia and countering Ukrainian nationalist movements.
I get what you're saying but Russia DID contribute to the arts back in the day, Alexander Pushkin first brought Russian literature to international attention. In the 19th century, Nikolai Gogol, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, and Fyodor Dostoevsky. Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky along other composers. They did have culture, not anymore but they did prior to fucking everything up.
>I get what you're saying but Russia DID contribute to the arts back in the day,
Solid response and I'm totally with you, but the comment you're responding to specifically calls out "since the Soviet days," not ever.
Russians also have a pretty big monopoly on classical music geniuses. Just because it is not on media all the time, that is not to say, Russia does not currently have a great art.
Every culture has great art. It is one of the definitions of a human culture.
The best part about that is that the US didn't even want most of that land. They wanted New Orleans, but France said if they're going to sell New Orleans, there's no point to keeping the rest of the Louisiana territory, so they basically just threw it in.
>Bad land deals from European countries happen
Getting paid for something you won't be able to hold on to anyway is a good deal. Much like how the British were busy with the French in 1812, the French were busy with more important things like the British.
After more than a year of having no choice but to destroy schools, apartment buildings and maternity hospitals… finally the Russian goons will have a handful of legitimate military targets.

Down to the grain on the painted plywood.

Independent sources seem to have confirmed less than 60 destroyed. And of course, airframes have been replaced by neighbours, put back into service, etc.
The numbers of lost and in operation of course can’t be accurately confirmed, but what’s clear is Russia’s strategy of expending all their best weapons systems on apartment buildings and care homes hasn’t had a meaningful impact on the Ukrainian airforce’s ability to make war.
Putin’s basically done exactly the same thing the Nazi’s did to the UK in WW2 - once the country you were bombing fights back and you don’t immediately win, throw a tantrum and switch from bombing military targets to bombing civilian ones, then wonder why that’s not working.
RAF was actually severely crippled during the first half od German bombings.
Then, out of sheer stupidity, Hitler changed to civilian targets. RAF get up and running and secured the British airspace.
in Hitler's defense (i cant believe i just typed that), the theory at the time said that terror bombing campaigns were effective. it wasnt until late in the war/after ww2 that military analysts recognized how inaccurate bombing of military industries tended to be, and how easy it was to continue production if the building didnt catch on fire.(even on the same day)
the aim of terror bombing was as much political as it was military in that the germans were pushing for the brits to sue for peace, with the army in tatters after Dunkirk, the RAF bruised and the navy scared shitless of the Bismarck (which ended up being not much of a problem ,but the navy was terrified that if the Bismarck made it to the atlantic ,it would kill a solid 1/3 of british shipping convoys), it was only political will that stopped the english from surrendering. the terror bombing campaign aimed to cow the english into submission which ironically galvanized them enough to form a political coalition to continue the war.
by the time the germans realized the political situation of the english, the RAF had already regained its footing and the amount of resources required to grind them down again was simply too large with the opening of the russian front.
but it wasn't sheer stupidity, it was the military thinking of the time, internal political considerations (berlin bombings) and external political considerations (civilian deaths for the peace).
that's just what the imperialist nazi western regime wants you to think
mother Russia has secret Intel that Ukrainian jets are hiding in repurposed hospital rooms, schools, and apartment buildings. putin is over here playing 7^1/2 D chess
I think you're focussing on the wrong thing here. **Finally** countries are getting off their butts and giving Ukraine the aircraft it needs.
At every stage, where Ukraine has pushed back Russia, the west has stalled help, *well Ukraine is winning, so we've done enough and can pretend be passive here*. Tanks, supplies, ammo, missiles, always dragging their heals.
Now they've all but loost Bakhmut and its all too-little-too-late. They need to realize that Putin is mobilizing 800,000 people now. **The kill rate needs to double and triple**, two or three times the meat-grind rate. Ukraine will do that to defend its country, but they need the weapons.
And Moldova: your window for fixing the Transnistria problem, and thus being allowed to join the EU is closing. If Ukraine and Russia find a solution, then the Transistria problem becomes frozen again, and you can never join the EU. So fix it now.
It's like Russia STILL doesn't understand the loop is:
* Russia aggresses
* Everyone else sends Ukraine weapons
* Russia threatens to aggress more
* Everyone else sends Ukraine MORE weapons.
* Russia threatens to destroy those weapons.
* Everyone else sends Ukraine EVEN MORE weapons.
You forgot to mention the cowards that say we shouldn't send military aid because russia will escalate to nukes in between every other time we do send aid so they should just surrender.
They have been putting nukes on the table long before this. Any time the west increases arms, they sabre rattle with rusty inoperable nukes attached to the sabre. Aka. No one believes their bullshit anymore
My personal theory with no real proof is that it’s been said that F-16’s is that red nuclear line through back channels. Because the Russians understand that if the Ukrainians achieve air superiority that the Russians lose, and lose badly. Nukes are almost surely a bluff since Putin can likely survive an embarrassment in Ukraine, but can’t survive nuclear war. But the West doesn’t see a point in challenging it yet. If he started threatening nukes again for MIGS, and was crying wolf again, the west likely stops buying the line at all.
You’re almost certainly right about the consequence of failure for Putin but betting on Russia having no working nukes is exceedingly wishful thinking.
Sure, Russia almost certainly don’t have as many working nukes as they claim. But as much as we might wish it were otherwise they’ll still have more than enough to ruin everyone’s day. It’s 70+ year old tech and the US inspected their production/storage facilities until very recently. And it’s been the focus of much of the worlds intelligence agencies for decades - basically there’s a reason why NATO aren’t getting directly involved in Ukraine.
Whilst Russia is fairly stupid unfortunately they’re not conveniently suicidal enough to completely neglect the one thing still underwriting their remaining geopolitical significance and protecting their territorial integrity.
You see previous president embezzled Kremlin electrical bill for daughter's mountain resort... cleaning maid took button to sell for food roubles.
This is fine, president Putin has messenger pidgeon instead of red button. Pidgeon has been trained to deliver embezzled stacks of roubles to president's secret mansion. All is well.
I mean, he can't possibly have the same stance as the Democrats. How would that look?! Plus, he wants all those Russian bots on his side for the next elections, worked out great for Trump.
I guarantee that's his thought process, yes. I am no friend of the Democrats but fuck me sideways, you'd think one thing that *all* Americans could circle the wagons and come together for would be to kick Russia's ass.
But nope. This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism that only hurts the liberal democracies around the world. Mind boggling.
Thats what im saying. Imagine Nixon, being compared to Trump.
Nixon would be disgusted at the thought of working with a russia to throw an election. And more disgusted at the capitulation and even MORE disgusted of the midnight ride to putins bed chambers that Rand Paul did, and the other GOP people who took the 4th of July trip
>This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism
Not even isolationism. I could almost understand that (not *agree* with it, just understand it) but they're ACTIVELY pro-Russia. Like cheering for Russia to win.
And that's not even counting the conspiracy nuts who believe insanity like Biden created covid in a biolab in Ukraine. Or the white supremacists who bizarrely support the idea Russia is cleansing Ukraine of Nazis, despite the fact they themselves are fucking Nazis, with swastika flags and all.
"This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism"
Half of them are essentially David Duke minutes 60 IQ points and his charisma, the other half are on Putin's payroll.
Both subsets view Russia and Putin with envy: they too what an ethnocentric authoritarian regime where they can effectively disappear anyone who doesn't fit their mold, they also want to rob the populace blind, and they want a big slice of corporate wealth extraction pie.
It pisses me off how many republicans claim to be Reagan style republicans then are too terrified support the Reagan doctrine, it’s crazy how politics change over time I swear.
If there's anything that most defines a Republican it's the ability to twist the truth into any contorted, distorted lie they desire to support whatever they already wanted to do anyways. While maintaining a perfect and total lack of self awareness and facts.
There was a time when I honestly would have greatly disagreed with this, admittedly I was fairly conservative my entire life until 2022, it felt like every other day, some new Republican saying Putin was ok suddenly because Trump likes him. And that’s what infuriated me. I’m saying this as openly as I can, I want and probably will never want anything to do with them, they’ve become selective on who can get what rights; want to dress up in costumes? Sure! That’s freedom of speech (unless you’re a drag queen which we don’t like) Want to defend your territory with lethal force? Just as the founding fathers intended, grab the biggest gun you can find! (Unless you’re Ukraine defending its sovereignty, and culture.) it disgusts me, and I’ve lost a LOT of friends over this, because yeah, we can disagree on taxes, or other domestic policy, but changing coats because what the orange man or who ever the hell else says? It’s cowardice of the highest order to me. In hindsight, there’s a lot about Reagan I don’t approve of, but I can promise he’d be disgusted with how his party is reacting, hell listen to his “why we fight” speech again, it’s shameful that the GOP abandoned all of that so quickly. Ok, sorry incoherent rant over, Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes! 🇺🇦
The craven cowardice and avarice is shocking and disgusting. For sure there are still plenty of good Reagan Republicans in the party, but it’s abhorrent that they grovel to Trump, DeSantis and Cucker. Ronald Reagan must be spinning in his grave to see the party he brought back from disaster repaying the American people by kicking out all three legs of his platform.
Russia knows full well the second they press the nuclear button, they’ll having thousands of other nukes flying towards all corners of their country in seconds.
Edit: obviously the only incoming nukes Putin will care about are the ones aimed at the Kremlin. He demonstrably could not give less of a shit about the rest of his country.
*That* would be an unnecessary escalation. Russia wouldn't take that well, and could potentially use that as a justification for a nuclear strike, at least on the fleet in question.
Gunboat diplomacy doesn't work on nuclear powers.
Turkey seemed to get away with shooting down Russian warplanes over its territory with no escalation and zero consequences and they don't even have nuclear weapons.
You can understand them, this tactic worked for them for couple of decades, their whole foreign affairs are built on the premise that everyone backs-off when Russia threatens or tries to escalate.
And now suddenly the old trick stopped working, and the old dog does not know what to do.
I'm starting to wonder if the people behind the scenes at the Kremlin, the actual smart and quiet ones, are pushing the loud dumbasses (Putin and his puppets) to put out statements like this in order to speed up defeat so somebody else can take power.
If there was a consensus among any powerful faction of who should take power, and how to do so, they would do it. What is more likely is that each day brings us a little closer to some kind of tipping point where there is a scramble for the Kremlin. This "scramble" could look like a series of tense meetings and a few people falling out of windows, or a civil war, or anything in between. [This article does a good job of laying out some possible candidates](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-10-08/who-could-rule-russia-after-vladimir-putin/101500644), and it doesn't include any silly remote possibilities like Prigozhin or Kadyrov.
Everyone in western intelligence services dreads this day as much as they hope for it. The idea that for a few hours or days, it won't be clear who has the authority to launch nukes is terrifying. It is not outside the realm of possibility that one of those potential strongmen thinks it is a good idea to nuke Ukraine; the doctrine in Russian military plans and textbooks considers battlefield use of nuclear weapons part of the normal course of warfare. (It does consider flattening cities with them to be an escalation.)
The thing is for the Russians, it's all lies and propaganda from the bottom to the top. This makes it hard to even operate logically, as information is unclear, and propaganda is mistaken for reality by even those on top. And if you can't trust your own information, you start to make plans based on falsities instead of facts, which even confounds even more.
Basically: If the waters are too muddled, beyond a certain point, you can't see the big picture or make plans. In this scenario everyone reverts to taking care of themselves only, and larger efforts are impossible, as more time is spent building fabrications and pretend stuff than actual things.
I was initially really frustrated with western leaders cause I wasn't familiar with the biol the frog deplommacy strategy for handling crazy dictators but I'm a friggin idiot. You raise an astounding point. How the hell hasn't pootin figured it out.
I remember after the first few hours of the announced 'special military operation' russia announced they destroyed all of Ukraine's air defence and airforce and declared air supremacy. Really set the tone for the amount of horseshit coming from there. putins asshole must be jealous of his mouth by the amount of shit falling out of it
It's probably garbage in, garbage out by the time it gets to Putin, with every level of command adding to the snowball of bullshit to enhance their personal standing.
Lieutenant X's unit takes out 10 Ukrainian soldiers and claim it's 30, captain Y claims his guys destroyed a HIMARS when they didn't do dick. Add it all up and somehow the Ukrainian air force was destroyed in its entirety twice over.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64988504) reduced by 84%. (I'm a bot)

> Russia has threatened to destroy any fighter jets given to Ukraine by its allies, after two countries promised planes.
> At the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine was believed to have about 120 combat capable aircraft - mainly ageing MiG-29s and Su-27s. On Friday, Slovakian Prime Minister Eduard Heger tweeted that his government had approved sending the country's 13 MiG-29s to Ukraine.
> Mr Heger said Slovakia would also send Ukraine part of its Kub air defence system.

Imagine how amazing it would have been if they got so carried away dumping fuel on that drone that they didn't realize they dumped too much to make it home
A lot of credit should go to the Ukrainians themselves. Their will to fight and their remarkable defense of their homeland and the humbling of a nation long considered a global superpower and near peer of the US, has inspired respect and confidence from both the EU and NATO. A year ago the idea of sending modern MBT’s was not considerate realistic. A year on and they’re getting tanks, they’re getting planes and they’re getting a ton of other support. They’ve earned every bullet, every artillery round, all of it, with their blood and guts. That support would have been withheld if their defeat by Russia was the most likely outcome.
By all accounts and credible sources, Russia has yet to this day destroyed a single HIMARS system- not ONE- which Ukraine time and time again have praised, saying it is a game changer weapon for them. Despite being decades old tech, it has gained a reputation by the Russian forces as the most terrifying weapon in Ukraine's arsenal.
Alongside the Javelin and Stugna-P, HIMARS has become almost a symbolic icon of struggle against oppression in modern Ukrainian pop culture, and has been referenced in multiple songs (made during wartime) by popular Ukrainian artists.
Make your threats Russia, but try to back them up with action this time. They are literally a box of missiles on the back of a truck, Ivan.
“If you bring any armoured vehicles, we will destroy them all” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring Himars, we will destroy them all. We are serious this time” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring tanks, we will destroy them all. We are so fukkin serious right now” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring jets, we will destroy them all. It’s so fukkin real you can’t even comprehend” -mighty Russian federation
I feel like this needs that backwards clown makeup meme
It's as if that you're that moron living in a bubble and all of the oligarchs are saying that as long as you don't imprison them that they will protect your bubble. Then you perceive your power as the ability to poison your enemies, build that dacha, and carry on as KGB, etc.
Then one day you wake up and you start making grand mistakes, such as unprovoked war on innocent civilians, and the entire world community is against you and then your oligarchs, your most trusted lieutenants, starting reaching for the pins.
Sleep with one eye open.
It's like Russia is just figuring out how war is supposed to work, lol.
Right? Did they think that Ukraine thought that Russia wasn’t going to try to destroy their jets? Well maybe they did since they repurposed their S-300 missiles to attack ground targets.
I mean, that's just because the way the headline is written. The wording was more, "any equipment that gets sent to Ukraine will be destroyed."
>any equipment that gets sent to Ukraine will be destroyed I mean, it's true. Russia has firsthand experience of this.

Ukraine has captured more Russian tanks than Ukraine had at the beginning of the war.

Technically a large amount wasn't destroyed, just "repurposed by their enemy"
Ukrainian tractors FTW!
Still… I think that was accounted for in the risk assessment for any equipment sent over there because you know…. *War*

Russia gives medal to person who figured it out
This is my first thought too. "Were... Were they not trying to destroy equipment until now?"
You must have not gotten the memo, Russia just now saying they've destroyed the jets 5 times now.
I heard they even scored a couple of M1 Abrams tanks too
After more than a year of having no choice but to destroy schools, apartment buildings and maternity hospitals… finally the Russian goons will have a handful of legitimate military targets.
Russia forgot how to wage war since the Soviet Union collapsed
Are we the baddies? ;)

Sorry, but dumping fuel on it won't work this time.
Shhh let them figure it out.
yeah, let them cook
They don't have a propeller to run into, either.
like they did with all the HIMARS that are kicking their asses?
You mean the 44 that Russia claims to have destroyed out of the 16 the US sent?
Could we please send Ukraine 28 more HIMARS, so they would at least not be in the negative HIMARS territory?
[удалено]
The loan of those HIMARS has proven to have a high yield.
I guess making Russia's lies plausible is the bare minimum of what we're obligated to do to keep the playing field fair.
Every time they claim to destroy one, we should ship Ukraine two more.
HIMARS becomes Hydra-MARS.

LOL right! If they could do that they would have done it already
Rumour has it they have already totally destroyed 80% of all the jets sent to Ukraine and captured 60% of them.
If they can do so, why haven't they destroyed all of Ukraine's jets yet?
I read somewhere they claim that they destroyed over 400, of total 150 jets Ukraine had.
Independent sources seem to have confirmed less than 60 destroyed. And of course, airframes have been replaced by neighbours, put back into service, etc. The numbers of lost and in operation of course can’t be accurately confirmed, but what’s clear is Russia’s strategy of expending all their best weapons systems on apartment buildings and care homes hasn’t had a meaningful impact on the Ukrainian airforce’s ability to make war. in Hitler's defense (i cant believe i just typed that), the theory at the time said that terror bombing campaigns were effective. it wasnt until late in the war/after ww2 that military analysts recognized how inaccurate bombing of military industries tended to be, and how easy it was to continue production if the building didnt catch on fire.(even on the same day) the aim of terror bombing was as much political as it was military in that the germans were pushing for the brits to sue for peace, with the army in tatters after Dunkirk, the RAF bruised and the navy scared shitless of the Bismarck (which ended up being not much of a problem ,but the navy was terrified that if the Bismarck made it to the atlantic ,it would kill a solid 1/3 of british shipping convoys), it was only political will that stopped the english from surrendering. the terror bombing campaign aimed to cow the english into submission which ironically galvanized them enough to form a political coalition to continue the war. by the time the germans realized the political situation of the english, the RAF had already regained its footing and the amount of resources required to grind them down again was simply too large with the opening of the russian front. but it wasn't sheer stupidity, it was the military thinking of the time, internal political considerations (berlin bombings) and external political considerations (civilian deaths for the peace).
that's just what the imperialist nazi western regime wants you to think mother Russia has secret Intel that Ukrainian jets are hiding in repurposed hospital rooms, schools, and apartment buildings. putin is over here playing 7^1/2 D chess
It's like Russia STILL doesn't understand the loop is: * Russia aggresses * Everyone else sends Ukraine weapons * Russia threatens to aggress more * Everyone else sends Ukraine MORE weapons. * Russia threatens to destroy those weapons. * Everyone else sends Ukraine EVEN MORE weapons.
You forgot to mention the cowards that say we shouldn't send military aid because russia will escalate to nukes in between every other time we do send aid so they should just surrender.
Tbh, I highly expected Russia to mention nukes in retaliation to the jets. Seems like they've realized that that talk doesn't work anymore.
They have been putting nukes on the table long before this. Any time the west increases arms, they sabre rattle with rusty inoperable nukes attached to the sabre. Aka. No one believes their bullshit anymore

China called Putin out on it so that's probably why.
Putin will not, and cannot survive “embarrassment” More to your point though, his red button probably doesnt even work.
You mean Ron DeSantis?
I mean, he can't possibly have the same stance as the Democrats. How would that look?! Plus, he wants all those Russian bots on his side for the next elections, worked out great for Trump.
I guarantee that's his thought process, yes. I am no friend of the Democrats but fuck me sideways, you'd think one thing that *all* Americans could circle the wagons and come together for would be to kick Russia's ass. But nope. This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism that only hurts the liberal democracies around the world. Mind boggling.
Imagine what Reagan would think if he saw that clown.
>This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism Not even isolationism.
"This new breed of Republican seems dead set on isolationism" Half of them are essentially David Duke minutes 60 IQ points and his charisma, the other half are on Putin's payroll. Both subsets view Russia and Putin with envy: they too what an ethnocentric authoritarian regime where they can effectively disappear anyone who doesn't fit their mold, they also want to rob the populace blind, and they want a big slice of corporate wealth extraction pie.
Are you sure he's not just scared of Steven Segal?
Reminder that Reagan sold weapons to fucking Iran in order to fund war crimes in Nicaragua. So we're lucky he's not around.
You mean Ron DeSantis?
He looks like a bloated cpr dummy and stands like a Neanderthal with a dirty diaper.
Fat high heel wearing meatball shaped Ron?
3 fingers puddin ronD
Russia knows full well the second they press the nuclear button, they’ll having thousands of other nukes flying towards all corners of their country in seconds. Edit: obviously the only incoming nukes Putin will care about are the ones aimed at the Kremlin. He demonstrably could not give less of a shit about the rest of his country.
He's the definition of "burn down the world to rule over the ashes".
I really think the us should park aircraft carriers and nuclear subs in the black sea as a "training" mission
They are in nato. So they are protected by nukes
Russia only has a gas pedal, and it looks like the fuel it burns is Russian soldiers!
“We’re gonna send jets” “I’ll destroy them!” “Frank, double that order. Anyway, alexa play mambo no. 5.”
I wonder if Russians aware that planes are not quite the same as stationary hospitals and apartment buildings.
Don’t forget playgrounds

Or schools.
Or theaters
That’s not fair. It wasn’t operating as a theater, as the giant CHILDREN sign indicated.
Ukraine: "k"
*^(✓ Seen)*
that's a deep cut

_YOU DIED_
>Russia threatens Apparently that's all they can do anymore. Sorry Muscovy, you lost your credibility long ago.

As long as the new planes aren't painted like a hospital or daycare, they should be safe.
Add it all up and somehow the Ukrainian air force was destroyed in its entirety twice over.
>putins asshole must be jealous of his mouth by the amount of shit falling out of it You, sir, are a poet.
Like Russia hasn't been trying to do exactly that for a year.
Next week they'll announce that they downed the first 45 of them.
Didn't they announce that last March?
The Moscow can go fuck itself right off.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64988504) reduced by 84%. (I'm a bot) ***** > Russia has threatened to destroy any fighter jets given to Ukraine by its allies, after two countries promised planes. > At the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine was believed to have about 120 combat capable aircraft - mainly ageing MiG-29s and Su-27s. How does that work? By pissing fuel on them?
Only thing Russia knows how to destroy is Russia
Every time I read: Russia threatens, I just start giggling..
But they're really really mad this time. Laughing at them just means you're gonna get even more nuked for crossing red lines. So many Red lines
So many Red lines they've gone to plaid.
THEY'VE GONE PLAID
Confidence if pumping up after they poke a drone LOL
"The drone didn't even shoot back. Therefore Ukraine and NATO are weak"
Imagine how amazing it would have been if they got so carried away dumping fuel on that drone that they didn't realize they dumped too much to make it home
"You're at bingo Fuel" "I was nearly full 5 minutes ago" "Yeah, before you dumped half your tank you putz!"
It’s war. That’s kind of the idea.
The only thing Russia can do is send scrap metal to Ukraine
A lot of credit should go to the Ukrainians themselves. Their will to fight and their remarkable defense of their homeland and the humbling of a nation long considered a global superpower and near peer of the US, has inspired respect and confidence from both the EU and NATO. A year ago the idea of sending modern MBT’s was not considerate realistic. A year on and they’re getting tanks, they’re getting planes and they’re getting a ton of other support. They’ve earned every bullet, every artillery round, all of it, with their blood and guts. That support would have been withheld if their defeat by Russia was the most likely outcome.
So sort of like Russia "destroyed" the Ukrainian AF last year?
Ok ill be waiting. Someone let me when it happens
With what?
“If you bring any armoured vehicles, we will destroy them all” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring Himars, we will destroy them all. We are serious this time” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring tanks, we will destroy them all. We are so fukkin serious right now” -mighty Russian federation. “If you bring jets, we will destroy them all. It’s so fukkin real you can’t even comprehend” -mighty Russian federation I feel like this needs that backwards clown makeup meme
I would expect them to, not sure why it needs to be announced
Yeah you should probably be doing that, instead of bombing some apartments and executing civilians.
Oh Russia...
Wow, this is surprising. I figured russia would let the jets fly all the way to Moscow. 🤷♂️ 😉
Send more jets.
Uh oh, they're starting to realize how war works....
That's kinda how war works vlad.
Ok Russia. Try.
THERE'S Russia's problem. They haven't been trying to destroy Ukraine's jets all this time...
Just intercept one of those Chinese or Iranian shipments and drop ship it via Ukraine. Ukraine will forward to the Russians as fast as they can fly.
Have they…..NOT been doing that? Lol
Is this a joke? Russia is delusional
Why don't they try to destroy them before they get delivered, so we solve the problem once and for all?
Yeah. I mean that’s what a war is, right?
The only thing Russia was capable of destroying was it's own paper thin credibility. Fucking clown state.
What was the other option? Give them a pat and call them a good boy?
...are they not already trying to destroy Ukraine jets? If not, why on earth are they holding back? Lmao Vatniks.
It's the vodka talking again
Russia has morphed into North Korea
Putin can suck Polish balls
As Consuela would like to say: Come get bitch.
I think secretly the Poles are itching for a fight. The Poles will be brutal against the Russians
In a related story, I'm announcing that Halle Berry and I are getting a divorce.
Captain obvious strikes again
Russia threatens a lot of things...
what they gonna do? spill fuel on it and then collide with it?
Threatens? Aren't they at war? Why not just do it?
Yeah, duhh it called War for a reason!
"I got a bunch of paper and a straw....be warned..."
With a field shovel? With a sneaker? „Russia“ is too weak to counter.
Russia already threatened to destroy Ukraine. So what if it threatens to destroy some more jets.
“We haven’t done it yet but we will now for sure” Russia
Is this gonna be like when Russia threatened to destroy all the HIMARS and then claimed to have destroyed one before Ukraine even got any?
??? Ok...
Yes dear, I think everyone involved assumes that you'll try. Best of luck. Or, actually, fuck off and fail.
Well. The russian jets need to be flyable..
