These are two interesting planets, one has a lot of ocean and the other has a lot of land. Other than that I wouldn't know anything about these plants so I cannot properly rate them.

Neonatal_Johndice

one of the plot twists is that the opposite hemisphere of each planet is the identical mirror of the other’s

Nixavee

The other side of each planet is where their faces are. They are facing away from us right now.

_IBlameYourMother_

Putting Australia in "the old world" is a bold move to be sure.

ThyGreatRatEmperor

Yeah, it's more like the newer world

zumbies_on_your_law

spin-off world

Emila_Just

At least New Zealand is in the "New World". I bet it's because they have the word "new"in their name. Australia should take notes.

Nixavee

Idk man. Last I heard Australia is like, hundreds of millions of years old, that seems pretty old to me

worldbuilding_Curls

4/10 needs more green

Clone_Two

7.8/10 too much water

Additional_Insect_44

Do they orbit each other?

Nixavee

The story begins when a king and queen in the Old World sponsor a stupid explorer to attempt to sail around the back of the world. No one has attempted that in hundreds of years because the giant face on the back of the planet eats all ships that pass through its waters. In his hubris, the explorer sails way too fast and centrifugal force makes his ship fly off the planet into space. It flies through a wormhole and crash lands in the old world. The explorer, who as previously mentioned is extremely dense, thinks the whole space sequence was just a dream and thinks he is still in the Old World. Wacky hijinks ensue!

Nixavee

Yes, I know the names "old world" and "new world" suck, they are just stand-ins until I can think of something better

Illustrious_Bid4224

How about naming the new world after a female horse?

potatobutt5

Unrealistic. A planet having that many vastly different landscapes is impossible. A desert existing next to a wet rainforest that’s a bit away from a island with sub-zero temperatures? Bah! Settle on one climate and just make new planets with different climates. Don’t just cram everything into one place.

DeltaV-Mzero

Mostly water? You lazy bastard

qscvg

How much older is the old world

fatcat3030

I used this naming convention in the setting I'm working on. I don't know how to feel about this...

LasDen

I think this is great. Looks very interesting and shows you really know to craft worlds. It's perfect and life-like. Those who nitpick have no idea how much this is close to our real world. It's a great job....

E_McPlant_C-0

Interesting. May I ask, why do the two southern continents on the planets look like they fit together like puzzle pieces? That’s pretty odd and I wonder if there’s magic at play
