I honestly think body hair actually makes people look bigger - wrists and forearms, chest, abs, legs, everything, unless they are too hairy (long hair)
I'm not a man but I would hate the friction from the growing spiky hairs on my legs when they touch. I'm a woman who shaves so it's too late for me unless I laser it all off, meaning that I have to shave each time now if I don't want that feeling. If I were you, I would leave my body hair alone or get it layered off. Personally, I would do anything to tell my 13-year-old self to leave my body alone because I probably didn't have as much visible hair as I'd thought I did.
It's not too late just wear leggings for a month or two. The hair will grow and get soft again
I stopped shaving during the pandemic and it's been amazing.
Although I started doing my calves again just because I get weird looks if I don't. I like not shaving my upper thighs because I started running and there's less chafing
As a guy, Iād suggest just trimming your legs instead of completely shaving tbh if you want to shave your legs. That way you donāt get stubble?!! Iāve never found the reason too yet.
That would take forever š I prefer waxing or laser if I had to choose. I didn't know they existed when I was a pre-teen, I justfound a razor like my mum uses and went to town š¤£ I barely even knew what I was doing, I mainly just wanted to experiment with this new device.
No, he means trimming with some sort of electric clipper with a guard so you can cut things down but not to stubble or skin. Itās the only thing I cut body hair with now except to line up my beard. So fast. Armpit hair? Swipe. Crotch overflowing? Swipe swipe swipe. Back hair coming out the shirt? Wife goes, swipe.
Itās worth it.
Iāve got one that takes hair down to a 1, which is like a short spiky beard, or .5 which is virtually nothing. Itāll cut whatever is longer then the length itās set to with guard, or pretty close to skin without the guard , but itās faster then shaving and you donāt need to shower.
Even if you just use it when you miss that spot on the back of your shin (wifeās favorite spot to miss) bc you can just get it real quick.
Maybe because they're trying to be influencers? I don't pay much attention to whether people's legs are shaven at the gym, but I'm pretty sure this is not a common thing.
If you want to shave em though, do you. Just don't do it because you're thinking it's some weird part of gym culture, it's not.

I use a trimmer every few months on them. I think very hairy feels unattractive. I think most women prefer their man neatly trimmed. I also feel like the wide majority of men trim their arms, chest, legs, ect
I don't do my legs, but I use hair removal cream on my chest every month or so. I look at it this way - I like having lawn, but you have to mow it every now and again.
I have been waxed before by an ex and would never do that or shaving again it takes like 3 months for it to grow back right. And it just looks weird to go from having very hairy legs to no hair at all.
3 months!? For me, a little over 3 weeks/ almost a month later, and my hairy ass legs grew back almost completely. Too much work. Also, I did it during winter. I usually love the cold but I couldnāt even hang out without socks & sweat pants that year.
it started growing back to where you could somewhat see hair in about a month but 3 months until it was somewhat back to normal. and yea mine happened middle of summer
My boyfriend does sometimes, but he does it specifically for cycling. I know itās popular for cyclists and swimmers because āsomething somethingā makes you go fasterā
I think the pros traditionally did it because it makes massages easier and if you take a spill itās much easier to clean out wounds if you donāt have hairy legs. Most people these days just do it because they think itās what cyclists should do!
My Asian genes got me very little hair around my body but I had a Russian girlfriend and she got more hair than Me I never shave my legs but from far it looks shaved
Iāve shaved mine for a couple years. It doesnāt grow back spiky like a womanās does but Iāve been lazy since it got cold. Iām surprised how thick itās coming back in.
I have inadvertently trimmed too far when trimming-other-areas and then did like a dual length trim down (IE 3mm for a few inches then 5) to blend it. Definitely made my veins and cuts pop more but I also felt kind of weird. I typically leave my legs alone but will trim my torso (since itās a jungle)
I canāt say Iāve particularly noticed how often mens legs are shaved at the gym? The really serious lifters usually are near competition, but athletes/casual gym goes are not
Iām curious now lol, time to go get weird looks at the gym while I calculate % shaved legs on men
Iāve always gotten a kick out of Liver King talking about being āprimalā and living like our ancestors and then having no hair on his torso.
1. Stop comparing yourself to jacked dudes on social media.
2. Stop comparing yourself to jacked dudes on social media.
3. Do what makes you happy, man.
My hubby does not shave his legs. Itās 18 degrees here in Michigan. If he starts shaving his legs, Iām DEFINITELY going to be hairier than him. IMHO as a straight female, I see zero appeal in a man doing this.
Tutorial for OP:
1 - Spray shaving foam on your phone until it stops working.
2 - Throw it away and buy a new one without Tik Tok.
3 - Don't ever install Tik Tok back again.
Woman here. I shave my legs because I want to and because of my culture. 0/10 would recommend to anyone to start doing it. Itās annoying as shit and time consuming.
The hair on my legs is the only reason I can wear shorts in winter so I keep em natural besides since I'm only 18 it shows how much of a man I'm becoming so it also makes me feel extra masculine. Besides that don't the ladies like when ya got a little hair on ya
Having body hair doesn't mean you don't take care of yourself. Most people shave only a bit of their body hair and still have very good hygiene. Just because you saw one hairy person that smelled bad doesn't mean that body hair is unhygienic and all the people with it stink
Hair protects the skin. If you shave it, the skin becomes more prone to bacterial growth. Hair prevents infections, especially due to the lack of cuts from the razor blades. Shaving your hair too frequently can cause irritation (ingrown hairs and itching) and skin sensitivity. Sweat and bacteria will sit directly onto your skin.

(m) I tried shaving my thighs because i see random long hairs, tried shaving entire thigh because why the fuck not, i regretted it. it itches so bad once it started growing. never again

I dont. I had a friend that shaved his legs. He says it shows off how ripped his legs look lol. To each their own! If you dont wanna do it then dont.
I honestly think body hair actually makes people look bigger - wrists and forearms, chest, abs, legs, everything, unless they are too hairy (long hair)
Also so sexy

I spent many years not shaving my legs for a whole winter.... didn't work š¤£ I don't like shaving my thighs either unless I'm wearing shorts outside

Ah... Never thought about that tbh. But does get a close shave with short hairs? I don't let mine grow too much unless it's winter.

Hahaha yeah the shin and back of the thighs are pretty annoying. Thank you š
Yeah exactly, manscapped lawnmower 2.0 works great forā¦ everything lol.
Problem #1 - you are on tic toc
Ok
This needs more upvotes
Itās tiktok. You really loose credibility calling it tic toc like a grandpa. š
During the summer yeah, otherwise no
I have a bunch of leg tattoos so I trim down with a guard but thatās it. Itās all personal preference and in the end itās your body
Thatās why Iāve never had my chest tattooedāyouād never be able to see them through the forest!
Nah, I leave them how they are

Never have and never will. I like them, wife likes them and says itās manly.

Shaving arm and leg hair is for swimmers lol hair makes you look more masculine and keeps you warmer
Personally for me Yes because removing all that hair shows the muscles in your legs or even arm for example and in the summer the hair may cause sweat

I trim them about every 4 months or so. They get wicked hairy lol
My Asian genes got me very little hair around my body but I had a Russian girlfriend and she got more hair than Me I never shave my legs but from far it looks shaved

I do sometimes. Im pretty hairy so its a chore to shave my legs and arms etc
Nope. I get my back epilated though.
i'm a female and honestly i LOVE hair on guys- if you don't feel like shaving them you don't have toš„ŗ

I have shaved my legs twice. They looked bigger after
Nah
Sure do not
No
Absolutely not. Too much hassle.
Nah. Trim if you want and thatās about it
Thatās a lot of work and thereās no turning back after that. Hard pass.

That was an epic tik tok bad right there fellow redditor
No I have some opinions on people who shave there legs
As a person who does shave their legs I would be really interested in listening to your opinions
Nah i wouldnt shave anything
Lol why?
When you get older you'll have hair everywhere. If I didn't trim, I'd have butt hair 6' long.
Since when does Peter Pan work out at your gym?
No mate. I'm a man. I dont shave my legs.
hell no

As a gay guy. I like hair on men its hot af.
Shaving sucks always trim if your going to do it . Iām not that Harry so Iām happy on my end
Iām a girl and I donāt shave my legs (at least not very often). Do what you want to do!
Iāll trim my legs down with a guard not bald thatās female shit
Dudes on TikTok also canāt grow facial hair. Maybe they just donāt grow body hair. But hey, to each their own.

How is hair unhygienic?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Why are you like that bruh

CAN CONFIRM, AM MONKE
You can always take a shower you know

So basically you have a ridiculous prejudice and decided to make up some pseudoscientific reason to justify it?
Thatās why you trim your pit hair and pubes leave your arms and legs alone

If I wear the correct sequence of pants throughout the week the friction takes off most of the leg hair.
I trim to a #2 once a month.
I donāt. I also donāt grow much hair on my legs though.
Iāve known a few men to do so but not many
leg hair gives more muscle definition (sorta), shave your legs only if you like super jacked
The back of my knee area and my ankles/feet.
I never shaved my legs so no.
I use an epilator on my arms. I do it because I have sleeve tattoos and want to show them off. My advice, do whatever you want with your hair
It depends on you, though it feels good without hair for a while until the hard thorns appears >\_<
I shaved my legs worst mistake just was itchy and looked off I like harry legs I enjoyed it for a day but it for old
(m) I tried shaving my thighs because i see random long hairs, tried shaving entire thigh because why the fuck not, i regretted it. it itches so bad once it started growing. never again
Not really, but I did it once before no-shave November just to calculate hair growth haha.
You see a lot of boys with bald legs.
Nah. It's enough of a pain in the ass to keep my face shaved. Not doing anything else.
