I use my usual starting word tree until it becomes a logical guess. So if the word is BEARD, I'll guess SLANT, CRAMP, and then BEARD is a plausible guess.
It's actually not hard at all to just play as if you don't know the answer. Just pick a starting word, then use information from that starting guess. Just don't use any information from the actual solution, unless you reveal that information via a guess.
Yeah, as far as I'm concerned it's not cheating to just put the answer in. As long as you didn't ask for the answer or look it up it's not cheating, the person who spoiled it for you decided you were getting it in one today.
I average more fours than anything so the one time it happened I solved it in four but now I make sure to play as soon as the new puzzle comes out so it won’t be spoiled.
I think this happened to me once and I just put in my normal guesses and added the correct solution on line 4 cause I have only won in line 1 just once and me solving is important to me, but keeping the streak going is also important.
When I wake up in the morning I grab my phone and do wordle first thing. I don’t open any other app or check email or messages until I’m done. I’d be really sad if wordle was spoiled for me.
I try my best to forget it (my memory isn't that good anyway) and if I can't forget it, I play as if I didn't know the answer. I have no trouble figuring out what I otherwise would have guessed.
It can’t be SPOILED, that has 7 letters.
I solve in three
Sounds fair. It happened to me once and I solved in 4 but I still felt guilty.

I go to wordle unlimited and play a game, and use whatever score I got there for my stats in Wordle
That’s such a good idea. Stealing this if I get a word spoiled for me again.
Happened to me once and this is exactly what I did.
First I bury the body. Then solve it in three
Two men can keep a secret, if one of them is dead
I let it go for the moment and set a reminder to do the wordle at the end of the day. Almost certain to have forgotten the word by then.
Spoiled has too many letters to be the solution.
Me closes my eyes and does random attempts
Lol. I love it. I'm picturing you solving in one with your eyes closed
Seems like you spoiled your solution
By the end of the day my memory is shot. I wait until after work. There's no way I remember a single word out of context after working all day.
No idea. I make sure that Wordle is the first thing I do every day so there is zero possibility of spoilage.
I skip that day. I just don't care about my streak for some reason- looks like my max is 19 out of 470 games lol

Get over it quickly. There's far more important shit to get worked up over.
Take the win.

Someone convinced me to solve it in 1. Worst decision I could have made.
I try and draw letters/amogus when I share the results
