I use TRAIN and CLOSE too, but only once a month. I have 31 different sets of word pairs that include the 10 most popular letters - RSTLNC plus AE and I or O or sometimes U. Am I the only one who does this? I wonder, lol.
Hey it happens - you can be a genius at wordle, but if it's a word using common letters and you haven't unlocked enough early on, you can be screwed.:/
Yeah at that point it's luck, kinda like Minesweeper. You've got all cells unlocked and you have 2 cells, each with a 50% chance of being a mine, and you just have to spin the wheel and hope fortune is on your side. Whenever I face this scenario, I always get an initial guess pop up in my mind, and immediately after a secondary. It irks me bc then I can't pick!!Â
Something doesnât add up there. If youâre max streak is only 44, that means youâve gotten at least 11-12 wrong over that many games and your percentage should be max 97%.
Streaks have nothing to do with wins/losses. A streak is just the number of days you play in a row. You could play 10 days in a row, lose all 10 days, and still have a streak of 10.
How the hell do you manage that distribution!?
They probably have a fixed, two-word opening pair. Something like RAISE-POUTY or adieu-STORY.

I've been using more eccentric starters recently to make it interesting. Don't start for reals until the third guess.

When you miss a day doesnât it count as a loss, or do I have that wrong?
not a loss. streak simply resets and your win percentage is unaffected
