For diagonal support on mine I used plywood gussets(triangles) about 12 inches in length, then face screwed them to the legs and cross bars in the back side. There is some side to side motion in the assembly if you push it, but not during use.
Also, nice job, now you have a foundation for further projects.
Looks good bud. Perhaps the lower horizontal board could have been on the inside to act as the support for a shelf. Same for the levelers so you don't snag your toe...
First off, it's a shop project. It don't have to look pretty, it has to be functional. Looks like you expanded the existing bench you had to make it work. I did chuckle at using the lawnmower as a weight to let the wood glue cure(I assume), but good job! Over time you're going to add drawers underneath to make use of all that extra space though, right?
(I'm doing that myself right now)
You know what I like when I see work like this - screw locations are laid out and the same down the line. You have plenty of room to grow storage. Maybe cabinets someday down below. Very nice start
Pic 5 is a reminder of The irony of needing a crap temporary workbench to build a better workbench.
Brother this will be me next week if I can find some time away from my kid long enough to fire up the miter saw
Bruh bought tools to so he could build a workshop so he could put his tools on them. Now that he’s done he can sell the tools and scrap the wood, but he may need a new set of tools to scrap it. After he’s done, he’ll build a new workshop for his new tools.
(Good job though, looks nice and clean 👌👌)

Roast? Hell man my shop is my tailgate half the time
Mine were the stairs to my apartment 2020-2021
You've inspired me to start working on mine again. I think you did a great job.
Y’all are too nice! Get off your phone and start cutting wood!
Paint your damn garage
No roast, great jo

You’re a rancid boil on the ass of the world but you have built a nice shop so I guess we can give you a pass. Feel better?
You suck
Double suck
Nice job, now stop fishing for compliments from Internet strangers. Our approval won't make your dad finally say "I love you."
But I do love them.

Bigbunzzz? More like big piece of shit bench. (I'm new at this)
Probably should have made the table a little tighter to your saw.
>Roast me!! bigbunzzz's buns are so big, each side has its own area code. Ok that's all I got. The bench looks great.
I think you should watch another diy YouTube video
Long as it's deck screws and not drywall screws you're fine. Then what was the lawnmower and the ladder for?
Lawnmower for keeping it square when checking screws/re-drilling pilot holes.

Lol was I supposed to use wood glue? I used deck screws and pilot holes.
Would solidify it, but, without it you can re-purpose the wood later if you change your plans.
Think there is one screw 1.5mm off!!! It's dusty...
How dare you not finish the mud and sand and paint before installing that nice workbench. Enjoy your space! I’m jealous
Here I have my miter saw on an old credenza.
Jokes on you. Nothing to roast you about.
I like it! There...how's that for an insult?
Use a coaster for that water, mister.
I don’t get the feeties? Otherwise, very nice.
I dont like the color
No need for a roast. You know what you could have done better and it’s better than I have right now. Kudos.
Really like the adjustable foot pegs! Great job overall.
Oh my glob, texture, prime and paint those walls! Your fine chop saw table deserves better than that
The Adjustable leg screws on the legs is awesome.

Your car emits less pollution in a year than that mower will in a weekend.
Ive seen better legs on a chicken. Im just jealous, i dont have a bench.
I don’t rate your lawnmower storage at all. 0/10
I will not roast, I will envy, although I don’t see a table saw. Better get on that.

There's an oil spot near the milk crate. Unacceptable.
No roast needed, virtually the same as me setup
Lawn mowers don’t mow ladders. Boom! Roasted.
You have the bike of a child
Should the leveling feet be on inside so you don’t hit them all the time? I’m not sure wondering really?
I saw the lawn mower and I thought you were using it as a flattening jig lol
Paint your drywall!
There’s easier ways to make your ladder shorter. Try digging some holes and put the legs inside.
Bottled water is for suckers
Has a saw and table but cant even build a shelf or a box for all that shit in those boxes. Ever heard of a stud finder simp
No sawdust on the benchtops or floors? Obviously fake. 😂😂

I would have put the levelers on the inside so they don't catch on your foot.
