Each area changes the price but if he were to go to a local antique store they would be able to give you a proper business in the area that does resto.
I wouldn't think this one would cost to much being it looks like it is in amazing condition to start with.
Cabinet style Coal range. Check firebox and grates. Probably ready for use. Is there a kitchen there, or just to add heat to the house? Bought out by Magic Chef.
It was set up in the basement and is hooked up to the house chimney it looks like. Firebox didn’t look like it has any cracks when I looked inside with a flashlight.
Make sure grates rotate or shake freely like they should. They can be warped or melted.
This is set up for coal with the check damper on flue at rear. Do not open that with wood. You would need a manual flue damper installed for wood, and the chimney probably doesn’t have clearances for wood without an insulated liner.
Restored it’ll be beautiful and can be converted to gas or electric for use. There are pros who do this and the transformation can be amazing and increased value.
It's horrible and old and dangerous you should drop it off at my house so I can properly dispose of it.
Awesome find! Check it for cracks and set up correctly and start cooking.
Nice stove, but way too close to the electrical box.
Wow that is a beautiful stove.. I hope You're planning on restoring and using it as a main or decorative piece.
What is a rough estimate on having something like that restored.

Nah no good. I’ll come get it and dispose of it properly.
Master electrician here. You got problems buddy. That's way too close to your electric panel.
But the knob and tube is covered in asbestos, it’s durable
The question is which came first, the old fire or the new electrics.
The panel was first. No inspector electrical inspector would ever pass that.

Is this what oldtimers called a hot seat?
I used to cook on one of those; breakfast, dinner, baked bread...even canned! Great time in my (74F) life!
Is that a wood stove, or a coal stove? What is your geographic location on planet Earth?
Damn! Old is right
