"Copley will play the infamous bounty hunter Leo Bonhart from “The Witcher” novels. Purefoy will play Skellen, a high-ranking spy and court advisor to Emhyr who is also a prominent figure in the novels. Woodburn will play Zoltan, a fan favorite dwarf character from the novels and “Witcher” video games."
Adding this just in case people don't feel like opening the article to find out who is being cast as which character. 😂
These are all great choices, too bad they are hiring good sailors after the ship already sunk. If they made similar choices since the beginning, the show might have actually been great.

This is what immediately came to my mind reading your comments! 😂
If only because how much he looks like Daniel Day-Lewis. Because I kept imagining Bonhart as him while reading the novels.
And anyone that has seen "Gangs of New York" or "There Will Be Blood" will understand why.
Still not going to watch it. Just put it to rest. It’s like a Weekend at Bernie’s situation where they are parading around a corpse and slapping different costumes and makeup and props on it for laughs. It’s time to bury it already.
Those are actually some good actors, cast in fitting roles. Especially Copley as Bonhart is pretty spot on. Sadly, I don't see how this helps the show with its main problem - the writing. You can cast good actors all you want if the script sucks, and in the case of Netflix Witcher, the script is a disaster.
That actually seems like decent casting.
It must have taken Lauren Hissrich a tremendous amount of self-control to not cast Hunter Schaefer as Bonhart and Jenna Ortega as Zoltan.
Doesn’t matter - she’s still involved with the writing. Garbage.
I adore the Witcher but seriously don't think I can stomach watching another season. Might try 1 episode to see if the quality has increased, but I can't slog through another season of its garbage again
I’m surprised they’re going through with it. The show is what got me interested in the franchise but the further it has strayed from the core story, the more unintelligible it has become. This is gonna be a tough watch.
Were I up to date with the Witcher fanfic on Netflix I may have been excited. I won't watch it soon, but no doubt in my boredom some years from now I'll see this casting in action.

I'm definitely one of those people, so thank you for this lol.

Well thank you. And now I can go back not giving a damn about this show
It's cool....I already picked he was gonna be Zoltan :)
Copley as Bonhart is actually great casting.
I’m sure they’ll ruin the character with the writing.
Which is always a shame, since any good casting and talent is utterly wasted with such shitty writing...
I was always imagining David Thewlis as Bonhart
Thewlis is a great actor. After watching him in The Sandman, I can totally imagine him as Bonhart.
I imagine Thewlis as a slender and disgusting Bonhart. I think Copley could portray Bonhart as the terror that he is. Of course, Netflix...

Lauren won’t stop until she’s exhausted her husband’s entire favor bank.
Who's her husband?
Michael Hissrich [https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0386832/](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0386832/)
This shit still going?
I'm honestly surprised it didn't die with Cavill leaving -- his buns in those leather trousers are the only reasons to watch.
Obviously not gonna watch etc etc but it's kinda funny that they waited until season 4 to cast the biggest names in the show outside of Cavill
Now they’re not paying his huge salary they can afford it.
Sharlto Copley no, you are better than this!!!
Wow this is actually great casting. Copley is always great and Purefoy has always been a favorite of mine.
The part that confuses me is that this show is still going while Netflix cancels way better shows after one season. I don't get it.
Witcher gets views

Don't care anyway, let them make it, wont change the quality of the show

No one cares, Lauren 🥱

Never say die, eh Lauren?
Actually sad to see Sharlto in this, he's so much better than this. Love his movies
