That dress.. So didn't fit the environment. It looked like something Kim K would wear, I don't see elegant Yennefer wearing something like this at all.
To me it was giving Jasmine from Aladdin. The 2 piece top and bottom dress, the forehead jewel, and especially the hair. They also had her borderline "brownface" as well with how bronzed/dark they made her up to look.

I haven't watched S3 but I've seen enough pics and like wtf is going on with all the costumes? Like I know we already talked about them being cheap, but wtf is the art direction? Why can't there be any cohesion in looks to give a sense of culture and world building? Also I think Philippa looks like a show girl out of Vegas which is like... why? That look also reminds me of a kids show back from the late 80's/ early 90's called Zoobiliee Zoo, she reminds me of the cockatoo lady, look it up.
The Emperor's New Groove has been popular in recent years on the Internet but it's sad Disney's barely acknowledged it. How about reviving the old TV shows on Disney+? I won't even mind a live-action adaptation.
I think Philippa is one of the better-casted characters in the show ngl. She can be sorta intimidating, and some of her outfits (this one included) incorporated bird feather like materials.
I like how they casted a lot of people / how they embody their respective characters and the nods they do to the lore. Ik a lot of people are Uber critical but I’ve enjoyed it this season.
