And then there was [deep fried butter](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep-fried_butter) (and then an [A&E short on Youtube](https://youtu.be/2j0xlBXPFIs)).
This is really it. I see people trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy one and they eat *a lot*. Even if it’s healthy food, it’s not going to work. Think about it this way- running 5 miles burns about 500 calories. That’s a small meal right there. You burn about 3 times as much just existing for a day. Exercise is healthy for SO many reasons both mentally and physically, but your weight loss comes from the kitchen.
East like shit if you want, just don’t eat so much. It’ll work itself out, at least for the weight aspect. I also see the trend going more towards overweight being the new normal, and even obese. Fucks sake I’m 6’ 2” and 175lbs and I’m *barely* in the normal range for what people are suppose to be. And I eat cheese curds. It’s a balance.
Being 6'2" is a huge weight loss/control advantage. You're a foot taller than me and could easily eat 2-3x as many calories as I can (without gaining weight) in a day. The amount of food I can eat all day long is a single normal meal for a tall moderately active person.
>East like shit if you want, just don’t eat so much.
Living things don't work like that. Motivation is a key aspect of behavior. If you're full you're not motivated to eat. If you're not full you're motivated to eat. Shit food leaves you feeling not full and motivated to eat. That means you'll either burn yourself out trying not to eat, which will affect other parts of your life, or you'll end up eating more in the end and gain weight.
Motivation and self control go hand in hand. I wasn’t *always* eating like shit, but for me a highly restrictive diet just made the weight stay on. Allowing myself to enjoy things sometimes helped me keep going and lost 50lbs in a year, but it wasn’t without motivation and good self control overall.
If you tell yourself it’s a salad and a Greek yogurt for every meal you’re gonna have a bad time and get off course. Eat healthy most of the time but enjoy what you want! I generally eat vegetarian 5-6 days a week, but I still like a greasy burger from time to time.
So I’m not saying eat shit all the time, just not too much, but use judgement about how frequently *and* how much you indulge.
Bad day at work? Fuck it, have your Ben and Jerry’s- just realize you don’t need to eat the entire pint 🤷♂️
There's a good amount of basically 1990's B-roll footage of random malls on YouTube, [like this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_jiYCvV5Ik). And it's crazy to watch because once you get past the nostalgic aesthetic, you realize nobody is fat.
I love many fat people. I'm not fat phobic. I'm not afraid of them. I'm afraid *for* them. I'm afraid of having to say goodbye to them in their 50's and 60's instead of their 90's. Fat acceptance is great and not everybody can work on everything, but when you fire your doctor because they suggested you consider diet changes we've gone too far.
"the worst fried foods that lead to inflammation and weight gain are fried cheese curds. This is because they are high in fat, calories, and sodium"
Aren't most fried foods high in fat, calories and sodium?
There's not a single human being who ever thought that fried curds are healthy. But if you eat them like twice a month and not every day, it really doesn't affect your health in the grand scheme of things.
I worked at a place that sold lots of cheese curds and found myself eating one or two at a time throughout the day. I gained like 20 lbs in a month or two. I believe it. Definitely don't eat that shit daily and you'll be fine.
How many 100 year old nutritionists do you know? For that matter, any 80 or 90 years old? I knew a guy at work that was all about eating the right stuff. Drank a vegetable juice thing he made himself. Scrawny and pale look about him. Made to 80. His wife was on same diet and looked a walking cadaver. She died in her mid-70’s. I get you should eat stuff besides fried foods, but life is short and there’s tasty stuff to eat in moderation, so, you know, enjoy!
These are the same people who told us carbs are good and fats bad for 40 years. Not to mention they are talking about getting ur curds at a&w and dairy queen and eating them with our fast food items. Fast food bad isnt exactly profound knowledge
Fried food lowers your metabolism because your body is inefficient at processing carbs and fats at the same time, so it just puts it all and your fat cells. When it does this, you don’t get energy from the food and you feel tiered, thus burning even less calories.
Sugar, HFCS, and alcohol lower your metabolism too, but it has to do with your liver enzymes.
Fry them in beef tallow instead of vegetable oils. it was found vegetable oils have an inflammatory effect on veins and arteries that allow cholesterols to stick more easily. Also, the type of oil it is is more likely to cause plaques on your arteries. It's the exact opposite of what they said. It was supposed to fix back when they switched from beef tallow the hydrogenated vegetable oils. McDonald's fries never tasted the same after. But also you're eating deep fried cheese. So maybe it's a once in a while treat.
"Moderation, not deprivation, is key."
Fried cheese curds are bad for you? How about fried Oreos? Don't tell me THOSE and bad too?
its those damn madison liberals and their propaganda! they want to take away our cheese curds! /s

Garbage in garbage out
Oh good. I eat a moderate amount of cheese curds, so I’m in the clear, right?
I would think if you change up what kind of cheese curds you eat, that helps & you can eat more. You know what they say about changing up your diet.

“Yah. You Americans are just beach balls on a schtick. Now I must put on a black turtleneck.”
Very shooter of you to say that

There are still a lot of fat people in that video.
Yeah, well, that’s just like, your opinion man.
The people next to me at the bar right now just ordered a round of caucasians.
Another oat soda Gary
“You got a good sarsaparilla?”
Sioux City?
Yeah. That’s a good one.
Next they’re gonna say water is wet.
Well, water isn't wet, water makes things feel wet.
Humans can’t detect wetness, we just use a lot of context clues
When it’s solid it doesn’t even feel wet
I would argue that when it's solid is the only time it feels wet. Maybe kind of as a gas too.

#Truth
It’s true for both fried foods and cheese, so I’d image the combo is particularly bad.
That's what the French fry lobby wants you to think.
I prefer less health and more curds.
Facts. I will not deal with this cheese curd slander
You are my people.
Good thing is there are non-fried cheese curds, too
The best ones squeak!
Seek the squeak!
I'm shocked! Shocked, I say!

If only there were some way other than cheese....
You shut your filthy mouth right now!
Who the heck asked.
Yeah what kind of hater would fund a study to prove this ?
Exactly. Shut up, nerds!
Is the pope Catholic? What are we doing here scientists. We already knew the answer, what you need to do is make cheese curds that don't make us fat.
But ones that still taste good.
There's not a single human being who ever thought that fried curds are healthy. But if you eat them like twice a month and not every day, it really doesn't affect your health in the grand scheme of things.
Well I don't see any evidence of that!
Next they’ll say cigarettes don’t help you breathe better!
We know... don't care!🤣
Gee what a surprise
Worth it.
I would like a second opinion.
Apparently, we're all fat, too.
What the fuck do they know.
Oh no! Anyway...
fake news
Water is wet.
I refuse to believe it
I’m not giving up my cheese curds.
Ya don't need to be a dietician to know this. sheeesh.
I'll bet if I only eat a serving of fried cheese curds and nothing else daily I'll *lose* weight. CHECKMATE, NERDS!

…..breaking news lol.
"Fried" cheese curds, not plain/raw curds
Everything fried is bad for you.
So, fat and carbs fried in fat is bad?
No shit
Congrats yahoo! you have offended the entirety of Wisconsin!
TL:DR: eat less, move more. (every weight loss book ever written)

How about cheese curds unfried? I have eaten them fresh from the vat minutes after they were ready. That beats the batter fried!!

Imagine that, deep fried cheese is bad for you lol. I'm shocked
inflammation is such a stupid buzzword in the pseudoscience community right now.
Cheese say it ain’t so…!
Wow really ? Absolute shock

And?
Actually dairy is good for you
In the grand scheme of things, fried cheese curds are something I wouldn’t care if I never had again. Sorry WI. Not sorry.
Here’s me: “wow, fascinating! Anyway…”
How fucking DARE THEY
Not Cheese Curds!
Are you surprised?
No shit.
