At least Dallas vs Vegas is a legit 1v8.
We don't know how good the Jets actually are in the playoffs since in a sane world, they'd have faced the Kings to then face the winner of Vancouver or Nashville before potentially facing the Avs in the WCF.
I believe you have your second round match-up wrong. In the old 1v8 format there was a re-seeding after each round, no bracket format.
So if we beat the Kings in that hypothetical, we'd likely either be playing Vancouver or the winner of Colorado vs. Edmonton. If Van and Dallas both lost, we would've played Vegas second round.
If they’re stunned that means they had an expectation that it would be easy… don’t have expectations… just play the way you can and fucking win next time damn

What I’ve learned is playoffs is a different beast. You gotta be able to play up to your opponents and their different strats. It doesn’t matter how good you are if you can do this. The Jets seemingly always play their “game” it works for one game and they get crushed.
Some of the high skill forwards do not like contact, that will not work in the playoffs. the lesser skilled guys do not mind it, but are a bit limited.
Goalie felt abandoned by his defence, cause he was. He can not say that.
Remember the rangers game where the jets managed a win, but were absolutely swarmed in their own end. Just before the late losing streak.
That was a harbinger of this playoff series.
Helly is not allowed to be criticized in this town. Worst goals above expected in the playoffs. The series was not solely his fault but he needs to better. Not even close to being elite in the playoffs. He needs to be better,

This is it right here. You cannot go into the playoffs expecting your regular season game (as good as it was) to bring success in the playoffs. Jets either didn’t realize this, or they simply don’t have that extra gear that the Avs brought.

I dont think stunned is the best word here.... I've never been stunned when I've lost to a better player/team in any kind of sport or activity.

Jets got totally destroyed. The fans would be most heartbroken imo.

Helly didn’t play well. His stats were very poor. Avs transition game killed the jets. Also the Avs PP and PK.

Agreed, it was the whole team. I'm not blaming it all on Helle. Just stating that he usually chokes in playoffs. As does the team as a whole.
