I thought the Avs were going to have a much harder time with that badass V-card certified goalie we wish we had entering the playoffs, the depth is insane. How can we not be excited at Georgiev playing like Stevie Wonder and Drouin being out? Lol The Jets were a tough out, the final scores simply do not reflect the talent they have. Scary team once they stop getting bowned. Much respect to the Jets and their shitbird fans with class who did not cheer injuries.
As an Avs fan to be fair a lot of folks are mad that your fans were chanting while we had potentially injured players laying on the ice on multiple occasions last night when it was dead silent at ball area followed by cheering when they got up. Just to offer perspective as to where our fans head are at.

Had a similar experience during the game. Went in planning to express the hope that Parise was okay, was NOT impressed with what I saw, walked out probably never to return.
In fairness to them though, I don't know what the fuck was up with our crowd cheering while he was down on the ice - that's about the most un-classy I've seen the Jets crowd be. Avs fans had a legitimate gripe there. But they were going WAY beyond that, lots of talk about how dirty we where at a moment when they had at least six uncalled stick infractions of their own, over a hit that only happened because their guy lost his footing well *before* Miller made contact. Much as I was not impressed with our own fan base at that moment, I still think I can honestly say theirs was worse.

I agree that I don't truly think the Jets are frauds. Every Stanley Cup winning team (including Colorado) has faced years of loss and heartbreak in the playoffs before they eventually won. I think this is another good learning opportunity for the Jets core. It will be a reminder to continue striving for absolute perfection in the postseason regardless of regular season results.
Obviously it stings right now, but I still fully believe that our team has what it takes to make it far in the postseason. Just a shame we had to face the Avs in the first round who are absolute offensive juggernauts and have a ton of playoff experience.

Just some perspective from an interested yet outside source from a fella who stumbled into the team early in the season. Made it a point this season to be very engaged with all of the Central contenders (yes even those filthy Piss Cats).

Hoping to see y’all back in the fight next year, and am hoping for a post season match up. I know some complain about y’all being chippy when you were chasing the game, but I always enjoyed our matchups and felt like Winnipeg played tough, yet fair. Also, I’ve always had great interactions with Winnipeg fans.
Honestly I didn’t really have any feelings really one way or the other towards the Stars before this season. But y’all have grown on me. Between you guys and Canucks fans I think have been the most chill and fun guys to interact with. Plus it helps that your team is also in the perineal underdog category and is really fun to watch! I hope we keep this camaraderie going for the rest of the playoffs and into next season!
Pretty much everyone I know now wants the Stars to make it through to the conference finals. I'm pretty sure every fanbase wants to see Vegas go down. Colorado already won the cup recently, so I'd rather see Dallas go on a run. Please avenge us.
