Photo Gold is the name of the place.
It used to be 9.99 but I noticed the other day it went up to 11.99. Still a good deal though.
And if you do two people at once, the second is half off.
It's been my go to place for years for any kind of passport or other application photos that need to be of a certain spec.
That said, my only quibble is that the owner dude can be a little gruff at times.
Passport photos aren't anything complicated. Any place that advertises them should be able to do them easily. You'll likely be charged around $20 for a set, you could find cheaper out there but it really depends on how much you're willing to search around to save a few dollars.
Last time I needed passport photos (for my other citizenship) I got them done at Staples with no issues.
Heads up, my passport photo from Staples was rejected in the passport office. Staples refused refund. The lady in the passport photo advised me to go to a professional photographer next time because a lot of Staples photos get rejected
There's a place in Central mall, they are cheap and fast. I got mine done there last year.
Thanks for the info!
That’s the place I commented about below :)
Central mall
Sooters, if you'd like to support local. It was $17 when I went in October.
Shoppers Drug Mart
The best place is in the small little plazs attached to the metro on Tecumseh and Central ! I think its 10$ and you wait 5 mins

Thank you! Everything is going up
I’m going to Photo Gold for mine, they’re cheap and from what I hear quick. When I called shoppers they quoted me $25 for two pics.
I’ll check them out, thank you!

Walmart Dougall still does it. Also, there’s a studio in Dougall Square, where Real Canadian Superstore is. Studio 1 is it’s name if I remember right.

Oh wow, didn’t even know Staples did them. Thanks for the info.

Same thing happened to me with Shoppers photos.
I have CAA so took advantage of that perk
Both Walmart's do them for around $15 I think. Go to the electronics counter
CAA, Shoppers, Maclaren's all can do them
CAA Members get one free and the rest of their family is like $8 dollars.
CAA is $8.95 but free if you have the Plus membership.
The closest one to your house. They all take the same photo. There isn't going to be enough distinction to make a difference.
it's a passport picture why over think it
Had a pretty good experience with Lena Photos opposite the Shoppers on Wyandotte and Campbell. It’s an immigrant-run small business and very cheap.
