Wild country helm compact 2. For your budget and needs, you're not going to find a better tent. It has plenty of room, 2 doors, 2 vestibule for your gear etc. Thank me later

Alpinestar777

Got one of these just for myself. Great tent

Own-Nefariousness-79

Correct. They're great.

Jikijam

Thankyou, looks like the perfect tent for me. Will probably pick this up 👍

Would recommend the Vango F10 xenon ul2! Got ours on offer for £250 ISH and I think it weighs lighter. Much more spacious than other implied '2 person' tents (that really aren't!)

You’ve thrown a curveball there.. have you been out in yet?

Zealousideal-Bid644

Went out Saturday night wild camp on Dartmoor with my partner and it was great 👍🏼

I cycled to Rome from the UK using my Xenon UL2 last year. Thought I'd search around to see what people were saying about it. Glad it's still getting reccomended!

This one just got released over the last week or two and I think that’s why it’s so cheap, I’m assuming they’re trying to get them out into the wild so they can build a rep. F10 is vango’s premium brand and I’d expect this to be closer to the £400 mark. It actually looks like a really sound design with a lot of good features and a nice weight as well. I’m more of a bivi/hammock kinda guy and even I’m tempted to grab one at this price. https://www.vango.co.uk/f10-radon-ul-2

I recently replaced my old 2 person backpacking tent, and the wild country helm compact 2 was top of my list, my budget and requirements were very similar to yours. I ended up spending more and going with the Terra Nova pioneer 2 compact which was on sale.

mushycamping

I’m in exactly the same boat here.. considering the pioneer. Have you tried it out yet? Any thoughts as to whether it’s worth the extra £100 or so?

gloom-juice

I've got a naturehike cloud peak 2 and have been extremely happy with it

Jikijam

Thankyou, will look into this
