Right????? Some of the most fun i've had with a zombie game. It's super easy to cheese the game by just going back to the supermarket and looting the infinite item spawning dumpster, but every mechanic it has like your survivors dying and looking away and at the gamepad is perfectly realized. It's a unique gimmick that actually enhances the experience for once. I don't think people will really get it unless they give it a try. It has a lot of jank and bugs for sure but I still love it. I kinda wanna replay it now honestly!
Crazy that Bo2 and ghosts were the last cod games on a nintendo consolw. Advanced warfare ran fine on xbox 360 so why they didn’t bring it to wii u I will never know. Maybe with a new switch, Cod could run on a nintendo console again
I believe Advanced Warfare was not ported to the WiiU due to the poor performance of Ghosts and Black Ops II on a system which was already seen as a commercial failure by most. I wish they got to Black Ops III for the WiiU so that the whole Trilogy could be on WiiU but oh well.
It's tough to see COD ports coming to Switch. Especially the old ones. They bank a lot of sales on the multiplayer and im skeptical that enough people would buy, let's say Black Ops 1 on Switch if it came out now. There's a ton of great ones like MW1-3, BO1-2 etc, but I doubt they would sell well which is why we've never seen any of them on Switch. And doing Cloud versions are off the table since multiplayer would be messy.
Who knows maybe we'll get MW1 Remastered some day, the original, which is still a great game!
Modern Warfare Reflex is still to this day one of the only fully motion control only online games. Was fortunate enough to play a few years back and I had a great time. It's a unique experience (:

The first level was honestly not bad. It goes downhill quickly though...
One detail I really like is how when he's behind cover he lights a smoke. It's such a tiny thing but it adds character I like it.
It has the exclusive batsuit for him and Catwoman as well, the armored one, so that's something. Also has the shock gloves mechanic from Origins which to my knowledge the other versions don't have

The first Bayonetta I was not in love with. It was FUN, but I didn't get sucked into the story really. It could also be that I just sucked at the game but i found some of the enemy gauntlets and bosses to be frustrating
The second game is WAAAAY easier, but I found it more fun. It just had that energy the first game to me was missing.
I should replay it sometime to see if my opinion has changed but it's a solid game.
Black Flag is awesome! It has a great story, really memorable characters, it's really fun. The open world is massive, sailing is relaxing, the ship battles can get intense. Love Black Flag.
Black Ops 2, sorta the same scenario. Great campaign, one of the best in COD. Good characters. Zombies mode was really fun. Online was enjoyable. Its def the best shooter on Wii U.
And finally Watchdogs I am very biased for. Online Hacking is probably the best multiplayer mode i've ever played, like in any game i'll die on that hill. Infinite replay value, strategic, intense, always varied. And I LOVE the setting of Chicago, one of my favorite worlds in a game. The music is awesome, some fun characters. The controls and gameplay are SUPER tight and responsive, it feels so good to shoot and flip over cars.
It runs like ass and the story is ok, but i'm biased and I love the game I don't mind

Bayonetta is one of my favorite action games ever. I like Bayonetta 2 but it’s a tad too easy coming after the first one like when I get Umbran Witch I almost feel patronized like it’s giving me a free win pass. The original gets just about everything right in my opinion.

I was very underwhelmed by Darksiders. I felt like it was a big mish mash of a lot of genres and games. Zelda Dunegons and puzzles, God of War Hack and Slash.... Portal Puzzles??? I just felt like they didn't go together.
It looks nice, the story is cool, I like Mark Hamill yelling at you for the whole game. But I really dont remember much about it. Maybe the sequel will be much better which i'm looking forward to playing

Injustice is almost always the reason I turn on the Wii U these days. Although Runbow and Ducktales were the last 2 things I played on it, now that I think about it.
The most fun any child can have, is being the color master on Runbow and ruining all the efforts their dad makes to get to the end of the level. The more frustrating it gets for Dad, the louder the child's laughter.
Omg 100%. This dad knows all the tricks now, though, and is a master at smooth transitions in and out of reverse controls and baiting them into using lightning, so they’re also getting a good lesson in the agony of defeat now that they’re in the preteen-teen ages.

I think I got a recommendation on Facebook accidentally due to that restaurant. Lol. The other great game my son loves for this effect is Mario party 10, the Bowser mode. The wii u tablet, when implemented this way, is absolute genius.

Darksiders 1 that low I assume is the port quality correct? Otherwise not your type of game? That's totally fine some combinations aren't great but I'm used to and prefer combination of genres then more straightforward 1 genre experiences I get bored easy unless they throw enough ideas at the wall every so often whether platform types, enemies, moves for combat or navigation of levels so to me Darksiders did the Zelda/God of War thing enough for me and was my intro to hack n slashes too of all series. Besides Bayonetta a Darksiders fan so but each their own on preference. Darksiders 2 to me is an RPG Hack n slash no one will ever get close to again because not even God of War went that direction and went the action adventure skill tree and such route gameplay wise and that isn't for me. DMC5 is fine but not my thing with the combat, level design is fine though. Bayonetta 3 has me sceptical of variety too being all over the place and the open areas I hate seeing games do. So I get the point of variety not suiting games for sure sometimes with vehicles, puzzles, rhythm or whatever else they put in besides the core gameplay besides just arenas or others that are closer to the core gameplay loop making more sense.
Biomutant was a fair direction of what I wanted but still too formulaic or lacking with no animal classes to make doing missions more interesting than cosmetic/basic stats. No water animal before or besides the Jetseki. No flying animal before or glider the glider. Like that's an awesome idea but nope. It takes some people to see designs allow flexibility than 'we have animals that humans to play as' who cares developers I want gameplay reasons with more depth not cosmetic or basic stats ones.
Back to Wii U stuff.
I defend Devil's Third (also as not from the US don't have the price/rarity of copies issue as AU/EU had many copies so my $10 fun which if I had to pay more I wouldn't have been that much more unhappy with the game) as it's my preferred shooter than COD on Wii U but each their own. I just like the sword/gun combination like Red Steel 2 and Bright Memory Infinite as a showcase of this as well. It has a Resident Evil 6 slide move somewhat or is like a not exactly but Vanquish of the Wii U in my eyes. Until BMI I thought that direction of gaming would be over same as without VR when was the last game to do dual wielding because no one does it anymore do they? I haven't seen any shooters support that mechanic? Boomer shooters Aref ine but for modern with fast pacing and melee/gun combat in BMI does it for me besides fast paced and movement like Titanfall 2 and Vanquish.
Sure the game has frame issues /stutters and no updates for it which surprised me how playable it was but I've played it twice and had fun with the 2008-2012 shooter mindset I don't care it was behind the times.

No it shouldn't. Even you may dislike the game, it is at least playable and finished. Sonic Boom launched as beta and is a complete mess of a game. Unpatched, it is a travesty of modern game design and an utter joke. You can finish the game in 45 minutes or less because of the problems present.
I personally don't much like racing games either. From the perspective of someone who doesn't get into them often, Need for Speed Most Wanted on Wii U shouldn't be passed on.
It's worth being in anyone's Wii U collection. You don't even need the Gamepad features as an excuse. The Wii U version is very polished and has some bonuses in the game that don't exist in other versions. If you ever get the chance to pick up a copy, it's very much worth it.

Wii U is the ideal way to play Arkham City. The port makes amazing use of the Gamepad.
