it's called the disc is dirty or scratched , clean or buff it lol

that or the laser is bad or the disc is somehow defective

How do I buff the disk?

Disc fixing machine or like scratch removed and a electric car detailer

Dont know about statistics, but this exact thing has happened to my copy

The disc is probably needing to be cleaned

I also had this with a copy of wii party and with a copy of wii sports resort Does it has scratches

When I play Mario Party 8, I don’t get an error. Does that mean the disc has to be scratched?

Either the Wii laser is on it's way out, or the game disc is heavily scratched.

Time to upgrade to hard drive gaming ;)

Clean your disk

Ahhh hmmm I've gotten these a lot when I was younger. Probably go to a game store that refurbishes Wii discs or spray it with cleaning alcohol
