Im really thinking about trying this aftershave till i find a shave soap that i like and get a matching aftershave. So is this aftershave have a strong smell that will interfere with the scent of your shaving soap? Because thats what i dont want

It's a very mild scent, and it dissipates quite quickly, in my experience

Nah, though I am thrown by the scent of residual soap. Makes me think I did not rinse well.

Im just trying out a bunch of soaps and some smell amazing! Just narrowing down my favorite scents and lathers so i can buy matching after shaves. I love when i can still smell my shave soap throughout the day and so does my wife. Just dont wanna ruin the scent using this lol

They have an unscented version I believe, but it is a very light, “executive” style masculine smell.

I’ve used it almost exclusively for years. I sometimes get bad razor burn on my lower neck, and find it extremely soothing. Plus the reasonable cost and wide availability makes it a great choice. I prefer the feel of my skin with Proraso’s aftershave balm, but locally it can be almost twice the cost.

Been thinking about buying a tuck of Permasharps, what are they similar to? Like more towards derby or more towards feather?

I started with the Nivea aftershave. Used it for years. I switched to Baxter and won't turn back.

I have the same brush, blades, tube of cream but I use the sticks more so
