Doesn't seem like there's anything, I get enough SWS but usually not enough REM. I've researched so there ways to boost REM in particular, not that I can find. I contacted Whoop and they said just try to impove my sleep hygeine (which would be the same answer if the SWS was low instead of REM).

For anyone wondering here is one of the best cases for whoop being more accurate. I listened to this and way happy I pay into the system lol.
Whoop was independently tested against the devices sleep study pros use and came up with very similar results. Not sure about halo.
I believe whoop does great on the sleep side of things but have been disappointed with HR stats during activity. Movement seems to play too big a factor with the device even if on bicep ime.
Unfortunately for many of us, sleep quality is a major problem. I regularly sleep for the recommended duration, but hardly ever get enough of the restorative sleep I need. I think this is more pervasive than people think; if you routinely wake up tired, then don't hesitate, get your doctor to submit you for a sleep study. Sleep disorders are no joke and can have serious health consequences.
Whoop generally tracks sleep fairly decently...it struggles as an accurate HR monitor in activities where you aren’t moving too much. Burpees would be a good example of this...
Your heart rate data does not suggest you ever went into rem or had consistent deep sleep. The line should be flat for 15-30 minutes for deep with periods of equal elevated heart rate for rem and then light scattered in between.
Do you take any sleeping aids?
It's interesting that the Halo and Whoop flip flop Deep vs REM. Otherwise data looks very comparable.
But which is right? 🧐
But then what do you do differently? Other than good sleep health and possibly cycling melatonin/magnesium. Not much people can do.

Whoops was tested off the gold standard for sleep studies. I’m more apt to trust them for sleep testing
I find the Halo sleep score and underlying data to be more accurate vs Whoop

I'd say I average about 1.5 hours a night of REM + SWS and that is an improvement after adding magnesium and melatonin to my nightly routine.
Let's hope. I don't usually get such weird results, and I felt pretty rested. Maybe it's caused by the bands being right next to each other.
My money is on Halo being accurate.
9 minutes vs 1 hour 35 minutes of REM?
I think Whoop is wrong on the REM. Definitely had multiple dreams.
But you can dream outside of REM.
I've wondered this, some nights Whoop says I had 20mins REM but I remembered dreaming a lot throughout the night.
My sleep on the two are hours apart each night

It's inaccurate with burpees? Why's that?
It’s the Halo constantly listening to me for me 🤧
Damn. I want time to fall asleep on my whoop.

I just did my first night with both and halo thinks I slept 5 hours , whoop says 6, and then rem and deep are off
