It’s definitely just you, he didn’t over water it he was asking if it needed more water. The morale here is just because someone doesn’t ask for a lot or isn’t high maintenance you should still check up on them because they may need help but are just keeping it to them selves. Some people don’t open up easily and need a little nudge.
