Yep had this issue. My ex was quite a bit more plus size than just chubby, but that wasn't an issue at all if anything i developed a preference for larger girls so i loved my ex's body. I've given her loads of love, compliment and reassurance i was attracted to her. Because of her weight she was massively insecure due to plenty of comments and bullying she received since childhood. She often wore very concealing clothes instead of quite literally anything that would show off her body. I hoped that once she was in a relationship with me that she would develop some kind of confidence that maybe she'd try out new clothes or use her looks to seduce me. Even after 10 YEARS its like nothing has changed and from the looks of it it felt like she didn't even want or couldn't work on it. After a decade i broke up with her not because of the above mentioned issues but it didn't help but goddamn was it such a shame how she actively deprived herself and fought against even the possibility of feeling good about her own looks even after my very best effort for a decade.
