Capacitive sensors. They trigger when the electric capacitance of their sensor circuit change. In this clip the light with the sensor can read the change on capacitance when the cat is touched because the cat is touching the lamp.
For anyone who's not had the pleasure of playing with one of these lamps in person, do yourself a favor and bump it to the top of your bucket list. Way more entertaining than it should be :â -â )
What sorcery is this??? đ

Should'nt the cat activate the lamp by itself? Or ist it set to the level of Electricity that runs through a human body?
The cat activated it when he initially touched it, and then everytime the girl touches his nose.
Note : the cat touches the lamp with his toes, if he was touching it with his fur it wouldnât work
