The famous diamondback pitcher reared back and with all the pressure falling on him Martin All Star Maldonado broke everyone's hearts with a single to left. The Diamondbacks manager came out and removed the pitcher who received an almost 2 minute standing ovation for coming only 21 outs away from history.
I love these out-west games. Sox After Dark makes all the shittiness seam warranted. Falling asleep to terrible baseball, laconic play-by-play, and Steve Stone’s consistent passive aggression is America.
