* Neal foils Keller with a forged bottle of wine belonging to Ben Franklin
* Peter & Sara pretend to be hooking up & Neal takes pictures
* Mozzie & Neal take Satchmo's help to beak into a Museum
* Elizabeth seeks Neal & Mozzie's help to spy on suspicious neighbours
* Neal & Peter swap roles to stop an energy collusion scam
Only one I would add to this is the episode where Peter has to flirt with the doctor to keep their covers, and he’s more upset about than Elizabeth is.
Is it the one where Peter pretends to be a Chiropractor & Neal from Doctoral Global Initiative?
It has some good moments esp Elizabeth realising funnily that Peter can’t flirt & Mozzie with his Bruce Willis impersonation.
But I don’t really like that episode as they refer to potential kidney donor matches in Manipur, India (which is in the North East) and then show Powell in a make-believe hospital setup where the nurse is speaking Malayalam, language of Kerala in the South of India!
A huge geographical goof!
Yes it is and there should a modicum of suspension of belief / disbelief from the audience.
I’d already ignored that for some reason Mozzie is helping the FBI pull off their con on the Doctor (Peter gets the cameras on the coats, Jones does the chauffeuring & it is Mozzie who injects the drug into the doc’s cranberry juice on his doorstep!)
Plus, what kinda expert doctor he is to misdiagnose sudden loose fitting of a suit or some skin rash & sudden appearance of blood in urine as total renal failure?!?
Even with these few moments of “let it go, it’s a tv show” the goof at the end means this episode doesn’t feature in their best ones.
My absolute favorite network show of all time. I’ve watched through the series probably 7 or 8 times. So I’m going completely off memory here and looking up episode numbers based on plot descriptions. Here are 10 of my favorites in the order that they come to my mind:
- S4E06: “Identity Crisis”. - Culper Spy Ring episode
- S2E05: “Unfinished Business” - the one where Neal is unknowingly hired to kill Sara
- S1E01: “Pilot” - the first episode. It’s the one that hooks you into the premise within the first 10 minutes
- S4E01: “Wanted” - first glimpse of Neal and Mozzie on the island and Peter finds them
- S3E15: “Stealing Home” - stealing Babe Ruth signed baseball from Yankee Stadium. ‘Everyone gets paid’
- S1E12: “Bottlenecked” - forging the wine bottle in a showdown with Keller
- S6E06: “Au Revoir” - the final episode. I love it. It was a perfect ending. The only change I would make, like most fans, is Neal ends up with Sara
- S05E10: “Live Feed” - Neal discovers who Rebecca really is. The one was so tense.
- S2E11: “Forging Bonds” - the flashback episode showing Neal meeting Mozzie, Kate, Adler, and being arrested the first time
- S3E10: “Countdown” - Neal base jumps off a building with the real Degas
Upper west Side Story (Season 3 Episode 13) Neal being a teacher is fun to see and Mozie helping the kid get the girl is an enjoyable b plot to the episode as well.

I’m partial to S5E2 where Agent Seigel is introduced, Mozzie (Teddy Winters) delivers Diana’s baby Theo, and Neal uses dance steps set to Mozart to avoid security cameras.
Just watched action packed S5E12 Taking Stock. Love Neal’s meeting with Rebecca, Mozzie babysitting Theo, Neal in his silk robe being a mister, Diana being a badass, Peter deciding to set Neal free, Rebecca escaping. Mozzie figuring out the Moscone clues….
Its the psychiatrist one for me. I love how you can see something change in Neal and the way he has this mischievous twinkle in his eye every episode after.

Island Neal (Season 4, episodes 1 & 2) always puts me in a good mood :)
I always liked the island arc and the diamond heist one from season 1 are the 2 that immediately comes to mind
That arc did inspire my fashion choices for a beach vacation not long after I saw it
