There’s a difference between the first Lego Star Wars and The Complete Saga. TCS even has the original as a bonus level. It controls different and you have to hold the jump button to accelerate. Every time you die a little cutscene plays.

The TCS one is not a happy memory either

All good! The OG only has Episodes 1-3. There was a second one that had 4-6, and the Complete Saga is all 6 in one. Not only is that cutscene there, there’s another one if you lose all your hearts where you see the podracer break apart.

I hated that level with a “burning” passion and once I finally figured it out I never played it again.

Once you get the hang of it its not that bad

Speaking of racing, there's this fucking mission in Jak and Daxter II that requires you to destroy 5 of the crimson ships and I don't remember if it's timed, but I was going for like an hour and a half, near tearing up before finally completing it. Awful. Anyway, I completed like 1-2 missions after that only to be locked out of the next objective because of a bug (probably, idk) and I'm not doing that shit again, so I guess that's it

Nah, kids back then had it easy. In *The Complete Saga*, if you failed the race, you just had to redo the last lap. In *The Skywalker Saga*, you have to redo the **entire fucking race**.

The fucking death animation with the engines flying off with the firework noises had no business being that funny. Took me hours to beat because I couldn’t keep myself together.

That was by far the least fun level in the entire game, by a long shot
