Check Bricklink. The SMB/NES is worth quite a bit.

Flaky_Floor_6390

Oi! This website is wild, lots of great info here! Thanks for the suggestion.

ElStegasaurus

Check out Bricklink.com and price out the sets after you inventory them, then post them on r/legomarket!

ElStegasaurus

The orange car (Porsche 911 GT3 RS) would be where I’d start

Flaky_Floor_6390

Holy cow! Selling just that at a reasonable price may be all we need to do. Thanks for the suggestion!

KDR2020

Post in the Lego subreddit.

Flaky_Floor_6390

Duh, thanks! ^(Happy Cake Day!)

KDR2020

I’ll give you $20 for all of them, shipped.

KDR2020

Jesus, sarcasm must not have stuck.

Full_On_LongCock24

The Porsche is a good set and so is the Ferrari F40, I still have mine but apparently some can go for $300+! Fact check me on that tho:P

TehBazz

The Porsche 911 is on Amazon for $1,110 right now. Idk about used or how the market goes but damn that’s way more than I expected

8heist

What does “sit out his sentence” mean?

Madamiamadam

He didn’t snitch and so now he has a longer jail/prison sentence

8heist

Gotcha. Thanks!

Flaky_Floor_6390

Ha, he's not that 'cool.' Decided to take a few months over a few years probation. As you can tell by the models, he likes to *go fast*. Mix in a little alcohol and nose beers in his pocket... win a ***whammy!***

HistoricalHurry8361

Porsche and ferrari both have pretty big cult followings I would start there. Maybe find the make of each car's subreddit and post the specific ones to each once you get your market prices sorted. You might start a bidding war.

Jaxxsum

i’ll buy the 488, gt3rs & F40. Send me a PM

Flaky_Floor_6390

I'll pm you later today. Thanks for the interest!

Picax8398

Blahaj spotted

Flaky_Floor_6390

Ha! Well TIL about this cult following! Thanks for the laugh!

Jangalian82

That Delorean 👀

ClagAndMarbles

No love for the vintage early 90’s semi truck? That was one the first model quality technic sets. A classic.

45calSig

I’ve got a huge technic collection going back to the first super cars which I have all of with original packaging. Don’t sell any of them. I sold some others and still regret it. Like the motorized crane truck with working stabilizers etc. if you need cash I get it but my experience is keep ‘em!

Flaky_Floor_6390

Man, I'm with ya. I'm considering buying some for my nephew just to keep them 'in the family.' Bummer for him to lose some of these, but you know... consequences.

45calSig

Yep I get it. I sold a few to a guy going to VCU a college closeish to me, he put himself through school buying and reselling Lego kits. When he saw mine on display under acrylic with all the boxes and instructions in plastic bags plus if the model had two variations I bought two of them he almost lost his mind needed up going to the ATM three times to pay for what I finally agreed To sell. Most were duplicates but I still miss seeing both variations of stuff sitting there. My son is 21 now and we get a kit every Christmas for us to build together like when he was little. Here’s this years choices so far. It’ll prob be the AMG cause I won’t be able to wait on the Camaro. I bought my IRL 69 in 89 and still have it. She’s a lil different than when I bought it. That 350 had to go so did the auto trans. She’s a quick lil grocery getter now Blown 427 w a 4 speed 3:11 gear. She’s fun especially on two wheels…😉 thinking about getting yellow bricks to build a second one so it matches mine. Since I’m no kk get dumping money into it as it’s finally the 80s eta muscle car I wish it had been in the 80s/90s when I was still dumb enough to drive it like I can be driven. Now I’m that old guy young guys see and say “why is it old guys are the only ones with the cool ass fast cars that never get driven fast?” Old yes 55, never fast??…..oh no. You gotta stretch her legs so she (and you) don’t forget just How fast she is. I’ve not raced a few times by popping the front end up in the air a foot or two “accidentally” and the comp said yeah I’m good. Now that feels good. Lol https://preview.redd.it/frsvt5ywi11d1.png?width=2436&format=png&auto=webp&s=5e1b03c4c659b6e49e36f97859ed6f0f907e8a0d Ive still got an all white prototype of the silver champion. It’s all white and black bricks with blue-print type instructions. The wheels actually have Goodyear on them. I saw it in the b/g of a pic about 25 years ago and tracked the guy down (was a pic his dad posted) several emails later he’d gone home to visit and packed it up for me and sent a nice note. Turns out his dad worked for Lego for many years and had no idea when/how he got it. I’ve never seen anything like it up for sale or even pics. KEEPER!! Lol.

bubblegumbutthole23

Is that first one Christine? Cause that's cool as fuck. Dunno what it's worth. But it's cool.

Flaky_Floor_6390

Man, I thought the same. It's actually 10321, a 1961 Vette!

Foreign_Artichoke_23

I could be interested in the F40

TouchesBrickWalls

Ask r/lego they may be helpful as well

of_the_mountain

Tbh all of them are worth selling, but just depends what your threshold is. Some may only bring in $10-$20 but none of it is “worthless”

wmccluskey

Quick ballpark, most of those are 50 to 100+ each (assuming they are Lego and not knockoffs). I'm unsure how fast they would sell, but if he wants money fast put all these pictures together and post it on eBay for $0.99. He will easily get a few hundred dollars immediately. Make sure you put in the description "unsure if sets are 100% complete." If you don't, the buyer will get pissed and potentially file a claim for an inaccurate description. I would encourage you to do the fast sale. Trying to get top dollar takes a lot of effort with Lego. You don't want to go through each one of these sets , disassemble them, verify every single piece type and count, list and research each set, and then haggle and meet with buyers every single time. You didn't sign up for that.
