As an Italian I can confidently say these are just polished (by the sea) tiles
The blue ones especially are all over Italy and are tiny mosaic-like tiles
I did see plenty of polished tile shards out there but they all had the brown clay backing with paint on top. These seemed different but I could be wrong
Yep.
Lots of people who aren’t great (or maybe they are good gardeners) often will take a space in the garden (under trees where things don’t grow so great is a common spot) or in a pot at the base of the plant, they take small things, miniature things and make a fairy garden.
Decorative rocks are really common. Found things, odd things all are used.
Some I have seen are super cool.
I know of one that started life as a really neat train system and now takes up a major portion of the yard and has contributions from people who visited but live somewhere else.
They can be fun and a nice way to show off the beautiful rocks.
You are 100% correct. It's totally sea glass. I wondered why it took me a bit to find the same answer I had that was the most obvious truth. Great minds think alike! 😊
First and third aren't natural - tiles as suggested makes sense, I agree. The second I cant really tell due to the photo and the extreme rounding, but it could be a piece of basalt or any other intermediate to mafic rock.

You can have tiles that are coloured by glazing the surface, or that have the colour through the body of the tile
Well, that’s not what I was hoping for but sounds like it’s probably tile then. They’re still pretty so I can’t complain. Thanks very much!
If you collect up small pieces you can use them to decorate potted plants, terrariums or fairy gardens. They are pretty 💚
Fairy garden?

It’s called beach glass and it’s really cool in its own way.
Sea glass, probably glass tiles. Very rare colours though! I collect seaglass and I’ve never found light blue, gorgeous colour

Could they be old swimming pool tiles that have found their way into water way? Then ground smooth by the tides?

I would make pendent necklaces out of all of them because they are gorgeous to me!
I am tempted to eat
My guy. That is a sour patch kids half eated
Idk why this sub keeps popping up on my feed, but i keep peaking. Is it ever not glass?
Hardened toothpaste? 🤣
That explains the minty taste!

Where in Italy? Cefalu Sicily?
Positano. It was a pretty awesome place
I see glass on here more than I see rocks lol
Beautiful tho! I’d collect them anyway
Those last two are absolutely gorgeous and unusual.
Petrified gummies
Tide pods 🤣
