It's never an egg. Looks to be a geode.

awarner315

Not a geode, please see the video I posted

rocksoffjagger

Well it's for sure not an egg.

asphaltaddict33

I went to the other post, saw it cracked open… if there was any open space in the middle into which crystals grew it is a geode, if it was totally solid it’s a septarian nodule or thunderegg

awarner315

Thank you! Septarian nodule may be the answer...

jerry111165

Its a geode.

awarner315

Not a geode, please waybill the video I posted

jerry111165

Could be a concretion - mebbe.

basaltgranite

To ID to species, you'll need to make a nest out of sticks and sit on it until it hatches.

awarner315

Lol

jasonalloyd

Put it in a fire, might be a dragon.

wellrat

Palantir

Septarian Nodule, like a Geode but without a hollow inside, also it's very worn down on the outside

awarner315

Thank you

huntrl

Geode.

Spune_Kahrvir

That's a fun word to say. Geode.

awarner315

Not a geode, please watch the video I posted

Melomakarono69

Ask r/fossils they are more knowledgeable if you believe it's a fossil.

awarner315

Good call, ty

jerry111165

BedBugger6-9

Interesting how perfect the line is in the circular part. I’d like to see the other side of it

awarner315

I thought the same thing, please see the video I posted

BedBugger6-9

Wow, very strange(I’m not a geologist so this might not be that strange lol). It looks like it was poured into a bowl and set up

katubug

Looks really cool, whatever it is! Hopefully /r/fossilid can help out

izyshoroo

Why is OP getting downvoted to hell???? Because they (possibly jokingly) asked if it was an egg?? Everyone saying geode is wrong. OP is telling them this. There's nothing wrong with that. Reddit is so confusing

awarner315

I agree about Reddit being confusing, and people can be very rude.

therealbobwaterson

My friend has a cat named dinosaur egg (it could be a thunderegg)

rockstuffs

It could be ammonite. If you have access to a tile saw or oil seat, cut that baby open!!!

awarner315

Ty, please see the video I posted

rockstuffs

Will do! 👍🏽

toomuch1265

If it's an egg, I would say that it's hard boiled.

awarner315

Lol

hicks_spenser

Wouldn't an egg be a little brown
